Would you recommend the Wingman86 or the Ripsticks 88 skis? I’m 5’5 210. Ex collegiate wrestler with good leg strength but not the best skier yet.

The Wingman will certainly deliver stronger and more powerful, precise performance than the Ripstick. The Ripstick will be considerably easier to use and progress with. Depends if you are looking for a challenge or not!

I’m a little taller, and a little lighter, but otherwise very similar to you. I think Ski essentials is right with the wingman. I bought the K2 MindBender 90C in 160cm and I’m constantly overpowering that ski to the point where I’m going upgrade to a 166cm in 82mm. If you’re to the point where you can link together, carved turns and you feel comfortable on Rocky Mountain blue squares, I think you’re going to be happy with the wingman ti.

Hi guys, i wanna ask one,two short questions pls. I am 179cm 90kg , intermediate skier who wants to uprade between intermediate and expert! I skiing mostly on groomed slopes but in variable conditions(good groomed snow,liitle snow , fresh snow,bumps ...) and i want to choose between elan wingman 86cti, ripstick 88 and nordica enforcer 88. Litlle help here pls 😊

I bet the Elan is the way to go here as you spend most of your time on groomers. They're still good off-trail but really excel on-piste. I'd go 178 in length.

Hey, im torn between the Ripstick 88 Wingman 82 CTi Wingman 82 Ti Wingman 86 black I ski at a moderate speed but i like something easy to turn and decently forgiving that can handle piste well, and some bumpy/fresh snow over the piste Which is the easiest to use? I'm an intermediate skier and im trying to progress into a carved turn. 180cm, 80kg Thanks

I'd say the Ripstick is the easiest and best option here.

Hey Guys! Quick question: If you had to rank these 5 skis based on edge hold when it's icy and rock hard and also better stability at speed, what would it be? this, Elan Wingman 86TI, Armada Declivity 82Ti, Blizzard Anomaly 84 or '24 Barhma 82? Would love if you could provide some insight here 🤙

Worst to best (worst is relative!): 5. Declivity 4. Wingman Ti 3. Wingman CTi 2. Anomaly 1. Brahma

@SkiEssentials thanks a lot 👍🏻 not at all what i expected 👍🏻

@@pauljeitler7678 Keep in mind this is our unscientific opinion. And also please note that "relative" means very close.

@@SkiEssentials you guys go more into detail than most others on these skis - think that's about as scientific as it's gonna get - I trust your judgement. 👍🏻 I'll see if I can rent some Anomalies and then make my final decision 👍🏻

@@SkiEssentials Hey, one last question - how does the Anomaly hold up the best at speed even though it has a super short radius (13m at 164) compared to the Declivity (15,6m at 166)? Is that due to the weight? (Declivity 240g lighter per ski)
