Can't believe skinny jeans are back already!!! At the end of the 90s through to about 2002 bootcut and flare were everywhere! Then from about 2003 the skinny jean invasion took hold and I hated it!!! All the shops had soooo many skinny jeans and only a tiny selection of non-skinnny leg (some shops had none). It took nearly 20 years for the trend to go away. I was so excited and now after only a couple of years it's coming back 😢 That said as long as it's just a long boot style that's okay.

I’m here because I like your videos and I’m curious to know your predictions. Personally I don’t follow trends. If it’s trendy at the moment - nice but not a deciding factor. My strategy is - If I like something I buy it. What I’ve seen as trends: Definitely! - kitten heels - even Wicked movie has its own line of kitten heels Mom jeans Skinny jeans seem to be back in online shops in bigger and bigger quantities It’s funny because some of the things you say are out are things I am just getting into and that is: leopard print (just one skirt for me) and small bags - I hated them and now I want one 😂 7:09 The quote of the year 😂😂😂!

When wearing jeans, I only wear skinny jeans but I really don't feel good about it and feel more better with dresses. In the last month of 2024 I tried wide and flare cut and woala it looks good on me. So sad that skinny is now back lol. But wearing what makes you happy even it's not a trend will make you look good.

Depending on your look, platforms look best. Streetwear for one. Like an oversized hoodie, leggings, and platforms with a cool beanie or cap. It you have a hot day, choose a flowy top , shorts and a flat. Big tops are still in. Micro bags, jean jackets, and clean girl aesthetic i knew were doomed to fail. Girls love soft glam. You can still do a pink nude /glossy lip and pretty cheek that's subtle. I predict red/glossy lips will be huge with the political climate we are in going into fall and winter. It's an act of defiance. Great hair and skin will still be goals. I still see bag charms, caps/bucket hats, and pretty ornate nails being in, except the length is short. No super long nails. Crossbody bags big and small still big. Statement rings on index and thum will be a thing also.

My opinion is that those who keep saying Barrel jeans are out, just don't like them and don't know how to style them. 😂😂😂 I love them, rock tf out of them and look good wearing them. They give my look a bit of an edge. Not really a fan of skinny jeans. I don't wear makeup, so could care less about that and I love big hair soooo yay. 😊 I am a huge fan of New Balance (chunky), but I also like sleek, slim sneakers. I am not a trend follower, but I like watching the videos.

Recently ordered a blazer in XS from Commense based on their size chart. Item was extremely small. Reordered in a size Small and still too tight even though size chart stated the size would actually be larger than my size. Commense would not exchange nor accept return.

I’m in college and it’s not that serious in real life. A lot of students including myself just wear whatever they want. Alot wear skinny jeans since I’ve been in college. I’m a senior. Some have the super baggy clothes style. Some are super business aesthetic. A few are clean girlies. There actually quite a lot of many different alternative style like skater, emo, goth, glam, athletic, 80s, 90s, 2000s etc aesthetic, some peoples style reflect their religious beliefs or environmental beliefs. Real life doesn’t look like trends. I also own 2 pairs of skinny jeans, 1 oversized baggy jeans, leggings, sweats, skirts, bootcut, straight leg and a few types of flares.. I think more people just need to be around more people to see majority of people just wear what they want.

I also had mini bags since jr high. Just depends on what you like and if you’re normal style comes into trends too like “Latina” makeup. I put in quotations because there’s thousands of POC races that have been doing they’re makeup including me, a Native American, for generations like this anyay. I’m sticking to my makeup look since I did since I was 14 because it looks best on me and my skin tone personally. I got bullied for it in high school now everyone wears the makeup look because it’s trending. But I’m happy when my own style pieces come back because then I can get more variety and options for my style.

Abercrombie and Express are great for tall lanky girls, and they have curve cuts at Abercrombie + tons of stretch at Express! Works fine for me and I have a 34” inseam and a 14” difference between my waist and hips, so I’d def recommend for any cut of jeans.
