If they take away a lot of the existing tactile buttons on the Mav it will definitely seal the deal for me not trading up into another one. The current setup is perfect and doesn’t need any changes. Important stuff is on buttons, and unimportant stuff is handled through the screens. Why are automakers so hellbent on ruining the customer experience over the savings of a few button molds and a few items on the bill of materials?

Great job as always. I do have to chuckle a bit as my 2022 Edge screen is just about the same size as 8.5x11 piece of paper, oriented vertically. Really helps during navigation.

Thanks for the information. Glad I got a 2024. Tactile buttons are easier to use in a moving vehicle than capacitive touch. Not looking for a smartphone experience in a vehicle. Ford will learn just as VW did that some people will rebel against a lack of physical controls. Navigation as a subscription is a terrible idea being that you phones give it to you free.

So far it is what most are going to, GM already did in Colorado and canyon..no physical buttons. And they haven’t gone back since. So no it won’t change that is how it will be moving forward.

I prefer either F-150 with the 5.0, 302-CID V-8 or F-250 or F-350 Powerstroke dually turbodiesel direct injection (TDI) 6.7 409-CID V-8 Super Duty pickup truck 🛻. 🙂

Thanks for the suggestion. We like it but are always looking to freshen it up every so many months. The music does have to be royalty free as well.
