So what do I do with the multiple transfers they sold me that they also warranty fixed (failed) now. Can we put new internals into the old model?

Same, have had 3 on different bikes (30.9 150, 31.6 150 and 31.6 175). Never had an issue with them. One of them got a bit slow to return but it was 18 months old so a service fixed it fine and it's still going strong.

I’ve always wondered why droppers don’t emulate Cannondale lefty forks and use a roller bearing with a triangular stanchion- there’s no slack and no stiction. Would seem ideal properties…

I preferred the looks of the previous generation seat rail guts, was more elegant and easier to adjust. But the rest of the new post looks much more robust! Too bad I ditched Fox for Bike Yoke years ago and have never looked back. Bike Yoke is amazing!

I got a fox transfer in crc sale before they closed down and wish I had gotten a one up v3, there’s play in it and saddles don’t fit right on the clamp

Fox is working on a wireless post, they told me while I had my previous kashima post in for service for the 8th time.

After the last Transfer...trusting Fox droppers again is tough...would like Fox to go wireless, but it needs to be $500 tops with no hulking seat battery and reliable...and acknowledge that old Transfer owners get it at cost with a trade-in.😂 Fox is too greedy of course. 💸

With this most recent time sending my post in, they did tell me they upgraded all of the internals supposedly to something new for free due to how bad the the old internals were. I can say for sure that I have not had that same pressure loss like all of the previous ones. So far so good.

My Fox dropper has been refusing to extend fully since day 1. Because this is such a common issue, I'd never buy a Fox dropper till the new version gets a lot of ride time from users world wide, because I just don't trust them not to F it up this time as well.

Why would we move wireless. Wired dropper is a 1 time install cable vs u have to recharge battery every time it died. Battery is an expensive option and it’s a one more thing to worry about on the trail.

Correct - you'll need to remove the saddle and the clamp in order to access the valve underneath. Given the improvements in sealing, this isn't something you should need to do that often after the initial adjustment. [Wil]

Stack height, length (max insertion depth) and weight are all lacking compared to the Oneup. It better be class leading in all other aspects to warrant the steep price...

PNW loam is better. Everyone at the pivot bike shop I purchased my switchblade from replaced their fox kashima junk including me. Mine started sticking after about 20 hours of riding. Had it warrantied by fix and 20 hours later sticking again. NO issues with the PNW loam.

Had Gen 1 DOSS...still going! Had Gen 2 Transfer!..sh$t! Bought Oneup V2 and PNW Loam instead! Sorry call me dubious. Maybe give trade-in for Gen 3 to all Gen 2 owners Fox. Otherwise F-u!🖕
