It will most likely not be better than the original. Just as it is with the other Exclusif's not being better than their original counterpart. PDM knows this, hence why they might not do it. But I'm here for it as well if they do 👍

I literally dream about a Herod Exclusif. The smell of this fragrance is a 1000/10, if it just gets this boost for sillage and longevity its a beyond perfect fragrance.

Creed Royal Oud was one of my grails- it’s awesome but only wear it a few times per year. But always glad when I do.

In my experience, Royal Oud was reformulated without being mentioned. Because Royal Oud was have the feel of sandalwood, but now you can feel the oud in the fragrance. And I suggest Royal Oud can buy the new patch directly from Creed now. I'm sure you'll like it very much and feel the difference between the old and what they have now. I rely on my own experience that I love the smell of Royal Oud and this is my second time buying Royal Oud. I can clearly feel the difference between the old one and my new one.

A. I totally agree with your "wish" they would make list. B. It's been 10 years since I found and smelled Straight to Heaven. Its been on my want list too but it is so much money. I finally made the purchase this year and I am glad I did. It works so well with my skin chemistry; lasts a long time. I also got compliments from women in the office. Truly a great fragrance. Do it! YSL needs to drop either (or both) a La Nuit Elixir and Myslf Elixir to make up for that disappointment of Y L’ixir. I think Victor and Rolf should come out of left field and give us a Spice bomb oud As far as a Herod Exclusif I think I’d prefer if they went to direction to freshen Herod up and add some citrus or maybe even orange blossom (think elements of Myslf edp but more refined mixed with the tobacco and cinnamon) to make it for versatile like Naxos. As far as fragrances I plan on picking up in 2025 two of them Stand out. - Boss Bottled Absolu (want to see what the hype is about, never owned a Boss fragrance) - Kajal Aican (ran throw my decant, love this scent and the best of the house in my opinion)

A new Bleu de Chanel would be nice. I actually prefer a brighter lighter leather and enjoy Eau d’ Ombre Leather. Projection doesn’t seem to be an issue on me.

I agree with alot of this except the eau de ombre leather. I think they wanted to create a more easy to wear mass appalling take on ombre leather and think they executed it well if you want a elixir version of ombre leather it already exists. Tuscan leather

Try vanille havane one of the best boozy fragrances. I think eau ombré leather has a great opening but I agree I get no performance. I only just started like leather fragrances, they finally don’t smell like coke or cigarette ash to me

Damn, C, I never thought of PDM making a Herod Exclusif. If they gave it the same treatment as Peg Ex and Layton Ex (i.e. add oud and a few other heavier notes to make it richer and perform better), they could charge $500 for 75ml and people would probably still pay it. My 78% bottle of Herod performs much better than any 81% (i.e post-reform) batch, but it still could be much better.

Imagine paying hundreds of dollar for a fragrance that lasts and projects just 2 hours : D No one gonna buy it when Babycat is already in the market. Babycat is the best vanilla-leather fragrance ever made, it lasts and projects over 8 to 12 hours. Rich, dense, cosy and radiant. Now tell me why should I buy a Babycat clone, which is eau de disappointment :D

You must be joking mate, Royal Oud has been piss poor since years already...I can't smell it after 20 minutes and neither can my partner. It probably never was a powehouse perfume, but now it's the same shit like Oud Wood... If I would of knew about reformulations back in 2015, I would have bought 1L of Aventus, Tuscan Leather, Tobacco Vanille, Oud Ispahan, Spice and Wood, Laudano Nero and many more I can't think of right now...
