Hi there! You have a rough diamond in the making. Congrats on your beautiful homestead! Could you share 1. how you went about finding land in CA, 2. what price ranges one should expect for 1 acre of land in your area, and 3. any associated closing costs? Unless you already discussed this in one of your videos in which case, maybe you could share a link? I am new subbie, and I am still getting to know y'all. : ) THANK YOU!

Thanks for subscribing! I don't exactly have a video on this, but i did touch on some of your questions on my first video on this channel! Originally, we wanted to be on 40+ acres but realized that we could not afford it/ did not have the all-cash offers most sellers wanted. It was about 3 years into our property search that we decided to look for a much smaller, flat lot. Prices depend on where in CA you are looking. Where we are located, you could probably except to spend $1 - $2 million for a home on one acre depending on how developed the land/home already is. For larger properties like 40+ you could expect to spend closer to $3 - $4 million. As far as I can remember the closing costs were minimal. I would expect them to be around the same as if you were just buying a house! Although, at the time we purchased this property, the seller was responsible for the closing costs. I think now that has changed and more is on the buyer. Hope that is helpful!
