I love that genesis makes their vehicles unique and you can still distinguish the sport models from the regular I wish genesis introduce a magma package on the sport version only with some sort of electrification for added power and efficiency unique to only the sport models

Man! We just purchased a 2025 2.5T GV70 in the US. I wish we had these upgrades and heard we were getting them for 2026 (wide monitor, and that rear view mirror (which I saw in other cars I test drove)). Still a beautiful car (the one we got).

@elizabethpalumbo6516 Just leased my GV70 2.5T. Was going to finance 3.5T but dealer gave a big discount on the 2.5T and it is probably the better car for my 98% city driving. While I'm loving the facelifts they are getting in Korea, I have no regret. Hope Genesis come out with a plugin or mild hybrid version of GV70 in a couple years then I'll love to be moving on to that.

I think both cars are beautiful in their own right. I was actually looking at a few year old G70 sedan that was in excellent condition. They definitely gave you some nice amenities years ahead of other cars.

I just bought a 2025 GV70 Sport Advanced in the USA. It has different headlights, grills, exhaust, and wheels. It has a 14.5” screen, not 27”, and no red brake calipers... among other things. This appears to be 2026 unless these are available only in Korea in 2025.

This corrected what I thought was the biggest flaw, which was the screen on the dash that was long, narrow, too far away and looked out of date. This new screen really updates the car and gives the infotainment system a lot more versatility.

Beautiful vehicle! The wheels on the sport model are reminiscent of those on the GV80, but the latter look better. I prefer the dashboard of the current model. I am not a fan of the big screen trend. I love that this company, at least in this model and the GV80, seems committed to offering aesthetically pleasing vehicles.

Nice thorough review. I love my 2022 GV70 3.5 Sport Prestige, it's been a wonderful vehicle, but............I HATE the new panoramic screens, on Genesis or any brand. It places both the instrument panel and infotainment screen at less than their optimal heights, the steering wheel is "in the way", there is no glare protection, it can be distracting to the driver. Genesis mostly phased out the 2 spoke steering wheel based on negative customer feedback, I hope folks complain about the panoramic screens, and urge keeping some physical controls for the most common functions. Not all technology is a step forward, pano screens are distracting and stupid.

Coming late to the party... but thanks for this great detailed video! I think I prefer the current interior, in particular this new one doesn't seem to have the 3D display? I know it's a gimmick but I really love mine. The Sport grille looks a bit busy up close, I'll reserve judgement until I see it in normal conditions. Also, the purple exterior colour seems to have gone? That's a shame, I find it really looked elegant and very distinctive (event though mine is matte grey).
