We have a 24, love the truck love it just got back from Arizona, got to go to Indy next week and Florida in three weeks pulling a 50ft race trailer with living area we had all three manufacturers trucks, I know it’s a lot of money but this is the best riding and power to me

I bought the 24 Silverado 3500 High Country, black out like your old LTZ. I traded in my 2020 2500 Denali. I love the vador crome and the umber messaging seats but didn’t think it was worth 16k more.

$105k? You can get a well optioned 3500 Silverado LT for low $70k. Think about it, the LT has the same engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, exhaust, and factory warranty. Simply option in the Duramax, multi-folding tailgate, spray bed-liner, led bed lighting, 360 camera view with hitch and bed view, center console with wireless charger, heated seats, power rear sliding window, rear backseat storage, remote start, auto dimming/heated mirrors, and led fog lights. The LT already has the new interior design with the 13 inch infotainment screen and painted door handles. Again, you can get an LT with all these options for $30k less. That’s the price of a new car. Give me a well optioned LT and a new car over a $105k GMC Ultimate any day.

@@geraldblacher6318I got an LT and put $12k into it. I now have a 4inch lift, 37s, Fox shocks, heavy duty aftermarket wheels, black out badging, aftermarket running boards, iDash, dash cam, custom exhaust tip, etc…And I’m still $20k cheaper than $105k.

GMC just comes with "more features" over Chevy. I own a '12 gmc 1500 and just bought a 2500HD custom crew cab with 8ft bed, I miss some of the standard features, but price point and not having such a yuge infotainment screen is a plus in going with lower trim level IMHO. Granted it is a '23 but a friend of mine has a gmc diesel and hates the yuge infotainment screen, always having issues, he said he is glad he bought the extended warranty for the electrical system. Hopefully I don't have issues with mine after the 3yrs are up.

GM transmissions seem to hunt gears IMO. That's the only thing I can't stand. When I'm towing with my Aisin, it knows where it needs to be.

Didn't they just recall 500k trucks and SUV's due to transmission issue? Been interested in getting a new GMC but with the gas engines having valve train issues that GM ignored, now the transmission issues in the diesel and gas trucks, I am not willing to be one of those people with a new $100k truck sitting in the shop for weeks.

Michelin primacy is the only tire that currently comes in a 235/80 R18 for the dually models with the alloy wheels . So unless you add spacers or replace the rims, your stuck with the Michelin's until BF Goodrich releases that size in the KO3 sometime mid 2025.

BEST Dually! Just bought mine...exact rig (sans Ultimate Pkg) totally loaded 2025 Denali in the Pearl White with Atmos. Brown Stone interior. After 500 mile break in, we took it from Arizona to Helena, Montana to pick up a new 2025 Artic Fox 990 camper. Drives great...even better with a 3500 lb. camper in back! Ready to to take it to Alaska, Canada and Nova Scotia next Spring & Summer. What suggestions for upgraded AT tires? Size, brand and lift or level? 35" or 37" with lift or level?

2:42 Can’t paint the black fenders from factory. Duallys only come with the black. Gotta do it after market. Taking the rears off is a nightmare. You can’t access some of the clips as they are hidden inside the body. And it has an adhesive to it. It’s a nightmare. Have a pro do it. I had to order more flares by the time I was done with mine.

Forgot to add that axle reference by bolt count is based on # of bolts that hold the ring to carrier. Most axles the ring and diff cover are the same amount though.

I know on the forums you hear about the transmission valve issues often. But GM has sold over 200k 2500/3500s in 2024. There is not even 500 transmission posts on the FB forums. Even if there was, 500 is less than 1% of the 200k sold.

Come on JB don’t say u haven’t had any problems with the 10 speed transmission. You have a 2024 AT4X that’s giving u problems as we speak down shifting between 7-6 gear its shuttering really bad come on Man U know about these transmissions don’t down play it on here

Popular or not, dummies willing to pay these prices are why these trucks keep being priced where they are. They have the resources to produce a work truck with this same POWER that a man who works for his money needs. A truck without all these childless unnecessary toys. Also GM did you forget how to manufacture a standard transmission? Do you remember what that 3rd petal on the left was used for..? One of our 30 yr old diesel GM trucks has a manual transmission. When and if the engine ever dies it will not cost 100,000.oo dollars to replace. GM needs some competition and or to go bankrupt.

I dont know why you fussing about the price ? you will spend 120 k plus for a ticking time bomb ford on there death whobbling front end and there ticking time bomb fuel system and ticking time bomb 10 speed trans and there ticking time bomb hydro lifters on there way over rated 6.7 joke engine .. so pick your poison i will keep my ticking time bomb 10 speed in my chevy that i pull 30 k plus daily on and have 150 k miles on my 3500 hd and not a issue one with and running strong and all i am saying is i had all of the big three and only one that i can get to hold up ever under me is a chevy and chevy has never left me stranded ever aND MY new in 23 450 high output has left me on side road many times and 450 cant keep trans in it and i pull heavier with my gm truck and it keeps me on the road and rides better and drives way better and has more power then my ford had but thats mine and all the guys i know that own fords experience s but hey ur money and your choice and gm will be my choice as long as they keep up the great service they have been giving me the past 10 years i went and switched to ford to see if they actually can deliver what they advertise but it was a big financial mistake for me
