Great overview. I'll be coming back to this video if I ever pick one up. There are some styling niggles that make me want to wait to see if they get changed for the 2026 model. I would love an integrated dash cam, but that's not likely to be even an additional accessory at the dealership for many years to come. Can't get much better than a CR-V for reliability and utility for commuting and city driving, unless it's next year's CR-V model.

Pedal braking works outside of B mode. When creeping in the driveway or grocery store in EV mode a speaker over the radiator plays an irritating new age sound to alert others. Very weird. Once you get lost and have no cell signal you will appreciate the vehicles navigation system. The wireless charger heats your phone way up and “treads water” (charge level just stays at same amount). There are no gears. No CVT belt. The engine mostly just charges the battery. The propulsion system is a marvel of engineering.

@@703Speed Waze showed a half hour road construction on I-70 ahead of me one time in rural Illinois. Being a genius, I took off on the country road Waze recommended. I found myself at an intersection of two gravel roads with 8 foot tall corn in all directions and two combines staring at me (I was blocking them). Waze was dead. My Honda Nav showed a lousy single line with no landmarks -- but it got me back to I-70 (right where the jam was). I had to reverse out to let the combines free. Embarassing..

Sorry, but at the 5 minute mark, you comment about storage space under the rear cargo floor, and then you actually pull up the cargo floor. This is not really the case. This cargo floor has been damaged as it is not intended to be lifted - some of the locking clips on your vehicle must be broken. Honda does not want things being placed in the battery cavity, for many good reasons. Thermal management is a prime example of why this space is normally inaccessible to owners. Damage to the battery is another reason. If you’re going to do car review, please get your facts straight before doing the video and misinforming your viewers. At the 13:35 mark, you mentioned the front wipers, but you didn’t tell your viewers that the rear wiper when washed also washes the rear backup camera. The rear wiper also comes on automatically if the front wipers are on and you put the vehicle in reverse. Nice Eh? At 18:48, you show the rear backup camera but forget to explain the various yellow lines. The lines are marked in such away that you know how close you can to an object to so that when you open the rear cargo door, you have plenty of clearance and do not damage it. Unfortunately the brake hold button, when engages, does activate the brake lights at the rear of vehicle, so keep that in mind. THe brake lights do not come either when you use the regenerative braking paddles, in any of the driving modes. This is currently a bone of contention with the IHSA. With the Sport Touring getting navigation, you now, also get a function called Predictive Eco-Boost. You set a destination in the mapping software, (you can change to any other screen you like) and the computer reviews and analyzes, the terrain for hills and descents, and uses that to better determine when it can run the vehicle on the electric motor only. This can give you an addition 5% reduction in fuel used. In Canada, our CRV Hybrid Touring (top line model) also gets two layer sound deadening glass in the windshield as well as the two front doors. Keeps things quiet. You do a good review, but manage to skip or miss a lot of the small, but important features that come with this vehicle.
@gillesthibault429Ай бұрын
😂 The "Brake Hold" button does NOT automatically activate the rear lights, the "Hill Brake Assist" one (further front in the console) does, up to 12 mph. Plus: Canadian Model does without TPMS, but adds heated rear seats, some front windshield electric defrost, and replaces the 1.5 L windshield washer tank with a 4.5 L one, with a low WW indicator on the cluster.
