Reissue ST 70. Original ST 70 never made it to America. Had a low fender. Look up ST 70 and CT 70. Difference is height of fender and colors. I wish they reissued CT 70. I just bought the blue Dax Thank You for the great video😊

Interesting! I never knew that and just thought they threw a weird fender on the new Dax for some reason. Thanks for the comment, enjoy the Dax!

keep your deposit there and have them locate you one at the nearest dealership or you can do it yourself online, I heard they were going to be limited in USA, so you may want to grab one quick

Love my Dax! Started the modding process and it’s getting sexy!!

I think it's a very mod'able bike, I'm going to try hard not to on this one though! My Monkey got out of control and wanna keep this one simple.

@ good luck!! Haha Exhausted sprocket, bars, tail tidy, and seat are mandatory. LOL The rest isn’t truly needed outside of style long preference on this one.

DHM already working with the Dax, from 8 hp to 10 hp with reflash and intake so far.
@John5XR15 күн бұрын
I saw that in their FB page! I may be swayed into trying just the ecu reflash just to see what it does. Probably stay away from an exhaust on this bike though, I’ve begun to appreciate the low db of the stock exhausts as I ride around the neighborhood with my son and “quiet mode” is good as he rides the trail 125

I used the hex key to take out the battery, there are 2 bolts to hold it. It's pain to put back, but won't fall out that easily. A bit sad thing is the place around the battery shroud. While attempting to put battery shroud back, I lost one of the clips in the abyss of metal frame. Not sure how to get it back :) Place for documents fits the license and owner's manual in a waterproof sack.

😅😅😅😅 i lost a couple of clips in the abyss also, one as i was removing the cover to the battery and yeah I have lost 2 crews in the abyss as I was replacing the air filter to a DNA… now i stuff some paper tissue in the gab of the abyss whenever i work on that part of the bike. There is a way to get those up from the abyss but I guess I need to almost dismantle half the side of the bike to do that.. oh and now I dont even have the cover on the battery, because I like to have easy access to the charging poles.

more than a few times I've had to remove mice nests from the "abyss" on my 1970 Trail 70 after winter storage in New York. Easier on the older bikes, but still awkward!

I was worried at first about the semi automatic clutch system and I was actually considering the Monkey instead because of this. However I chose the Dax as I have owned a couple of ST 50’s in my younger years and also a couple of Skyteam Dax, which are Chinese replicas. But I am soooooo happy with the semi automatic clutch now, that I would rather ride with that than manual clutch. I know some people find it hard to downshifting smoothly .. but its so easy, once you understand that it actually has 2 clutches .. one is when the revs are below xxx rpms, and the other one can be engaged manually.. when riding in 4.th gear and you wanna downshift to 3.th you of course need to reduce the speed by decreasing the throttle thrust and then when you press the gear lever down with the heal and hold it down without releasing it, you have manually engaged the clutch and it will not engage before you let go of the lever again..so you can use your foot/heal as a clutch easily and smooth, riding with one hand 😊 I guess all the Trail 125 and Super cub 125 owners know all about this already.

Glad you chose the Dax! The Monkey is a blast as well, but I'm spoiled by the semi-auto clutch now with the Trail 125 and Dax as I like to cruise with my kids. The simplicity also makes the bike more approachable for my wife to ride

The US version of the Dax differs from the rest of the world : US version got a kill switch, rest of the world version does not The turnsignals are different on the US version The taillight is different on the US version The Dax sticker on the US version has “125” underneath the Dax word, the rest of the world version the sticker only says “Dax” And yes on the side box where you open the seat it says “ST 125” on the rest of the world version Other than that they are identical, as far as I can see.

Torn between the monkey styling and CT 70 styling. Im not a fan of the front fender or seat style. Why didn't they make it the same as the original. I also wish the decal was the same as the original but said trail 125. I rode both monkey and this growing up and so glad to see rhem back.
@John5XR16 күн бұрын
The Monkey is more playful with the clutch if you like riding aggressive, the Dax is more laid back and cruise-worthy. Both should be kept off fast roads and enjoyed as play bikes. Check out my older videos about the Monkey, I put it through just about everything, but eventually sold it as it was the least used in my fleet

Front fender, and seat are not the greatest designs, compared to the original bikes. A few other things as well.

Compared to a grom, this bike performs worse in every category and is more expensive. This dude is comparing this to Harleys and sport bikes.... This sheit is wild bruh.....

You say “this dude” as if I won’t read it 😂 I’ve had a Grom and love them, I’d buy another one in a heartbeat and will for my son in a few years. And by “comparing” them to Harley’s and sport bikes, do you mean when I said the style and seating position is unlike other bikes?
