In my opinion, on the KIA, having the reverse and turn signal lights on the rear bumper cover, where they're positioned, is a safety design flaw, as it should be eye-level with the driver.

I'm on my 4th Elantra, I stopped at the 2018 Elantra sport.. I do NOT like the current Elantra's 😝 Hyundai should've brought over the fast back version instead and refined the previous version.. glad they kept the manual hand brake.. tried and true.. don't like the fixed head restains especially dealing with kids accessories, head restains , booster seat and so on .. don't like the big old grab handle .. smaller door pockets vs the previous gen

I agree with Mantle, plus, they don't produce enough heat in the snow to melt the white fluffy stuff and can cause an accident in a whiteout. Plus, like Mantle said, they're dangerous for oncoming drivers. That's why I have a 30k lumens bright spotlight in my rig. Most people will turn down their lights or risk hitting the cow catcher in my 80000 pound Semi. These should be illegal.

I don’t think so, not anytime soon at least. Sedans don’t typically do so well over here, most of our buyers want crossovers or SUVs. Every time I go to the states I’m amazed at how many sedans there are.

This for me seems a good reason for just the K4 EX model - ( rather than the + model ) almost everything except the moonroof ( don't need ) and the colder seats ( I like cloth as well )- the Elantra must be with some extras since the Hyundai Canada web page says 16" standard wheels ( which I would prefer for comfort) ...but the impetus for the Elantra is the hybrid option - I just don't understand why the K4 didn't have one right off the start... I'd be lining up to buy right now if they had - but for those of us who kind of need to upgrade now it presents a really difficult choice ...🤔

Probably a camera thing, but the K4's DRL's appeared to be subtly pulsating between orange and yellow.

It shows that way on camera - it's because they're LEDs. There's no pulsing in real life - good catch

The Kia 4 is going to take some time to get use to.. loved the K5 they need a new designer for Kia rims , I wouldn't say ugly but they don't compliment the vehicle, the door mounted heated seat control not a fan .. Normally the driver gets in and sets up for the family, heat , defrost, now the heated seat the driver has to stretch over if he can even reach it.. not a fan of the driver digital display and the reverse lights that low.. love the back seat, vents in the back and the adjustable head rests ..
