If you turn on your blinkers it means you should normally be looking away from the road, through the mirror to see if it is safe. With the blindspot monitor you don't need to do that anymore. In my opinion the blindspot cameras are much safer then looking through your mirrors, before, during and after your turn move is done.

This or the EV6GT...I like the interior of the EV6 better, but the N seems like a bunch of fun! I prefer the styling of the EV6 MINUS the rear taillights, but overall the IONIQ is more coherent. Tough choice.

Now the facelifted EV6 GT will get the same powertrain and software features as the Ioniq 5N, so if the KIA stilling suits you better you can get almost the same car underneath but with the KIA looks. 🙂

@IvoTrend funny you should mention that, after I posted I started thinking the cars should be getting some refreshing soon...and there they were. Thanks!

Own both. No comparison. The 5N is a race car. Chasis rock solid tight with handling of a go cart. The 6GT is normal car with fast motors. Good in straight line falls on its face in handling. Get the 5N there is no comparison.

I have both. Interior of the 5N is definitely more quality feeling than the (pre facelift) EV6... The steering wheel (most important?) also looks 100x better imho.

I have the GT and feel the same way as the OP. The inside looks so much better on the GT. I do hope the 5N gets the new button design like their refreshed counterpart. Not having to go through the menu for heated seats would be nice. The outside of the 5N is over styled imo for my taste like the host of this video said. Call me old but I like the front end of the GT more. The back has grown on me. I didn't like it at all at first but with some mods it actually looks pretty nice. One of the main reason why I decided on the GT instead was that the US spec of this car a year ago was comprised way too much for my needs. No vision roof, no HUD, no rear heated seats, no rear shade, and no smart park. For $67K + dealer markups that were around $10K or so. It just wasn't worth it vs the GT that I only got for $50K. I wasn't going to the track so the GT was a better car for me. The refreshed GT coming out soon like nice minus the front end, they ruined it imo. It will be getting everything the N has while being more efficient. Hopefully they will keep all the features from the current GT.

I cannot comment about how fun it feels behind the wheel, as I have not driven one. I can comment about the weight and the range. No sports car, no real driver's car can weight 2.4+ tons with the driver in the cabin.

looks like a 1991 air Jordan.

The 2025 EV6-GT gets the same power train and E-shift. I have the 2024 and can't wait to upgrade.

All correct, but EV6 GT will not be receiving any significant chassis or suspension upgrades. The 5 N will still handle better but if you're never going to track the car, the EV6 GT will be good enough for most.
