The video is excellent, and the reviewer did a fabulous job. Congrats! I really love the car, I am an Infiniti user and I think this SUV is gorgeous, but at this price point I think it is missing some features: - Fog lights - Soft-close doors - Side-window shades - Trunk cover/shade - Adequately padded centre front console - Extensible thigh supports - Puddle / marker lights on doors - Retractable running boards - Digital car key (Apple keyless entry) - Four-piston front brake callipers / two-piston rear brake callipers (non-sliding) - Rear entertainment system - Split rear hatch window - Ability to disable fake engine sound from speakers and the active noise cancellation The centre console issue @21:42 is also super annoying, a major design flaw. I did a test drive and it happened to me each and every time I pressed the gear buttons. I really would like to get this vehicle in the Autograph trim. Whilst the omission of the features above is questionable, I could live without most of them. But the lack of fog lights is a deal breaker. If one looks carefully, one would notice the placeholders for fog lights at the lower part of the front bumper. Currently they are closed with plastic covers. It's likely that Infiniti would add fog lamps in a future facelift update. So spend $100k+ and get frustrated later when the fog lights are introduced?...

I doubt they'll add foglights. Seems overall the industry is moving away from them and most new cars don't have separate fog lights. I also personally don't get the appeal of soft-close doors. I feel like it takes more effort and thought to focus on not closing the door myself. The weirdest omission is rear sunshades since that's something they've implemented in all of their recent SUVs. I wonder if there is some withing the door structure that doesn't allow them. But yes there are some things missing, but to consider Nissan/Infiniti doesn't have the hugest budget, I think they did extremely well feature wise for this class and are competitive. I know people like to rave about the LX's off-road capabilities, but the fact is that the typical buyer does not utilize that and Infiniti executed better for this class at a better price and with the proper space.

The raised suspension doesn’t do the vehicle any favors. Looks a lot better lowered or at regular ride height. I didn’t catch what trim level this one is but it looks cheap compared to all the videos showing the Autograph trim.

I am just so glad the QX80s have the “foot trunk activation”. Hopefully the 2025 Armadas have the “foot trunk activation!”

@@davidchurchill1651 it's more of a marketing gimmick vs something practical.. almost 99% of the times you end up opening the trunk using key fob, the button (inside/outside). The senario where you are holding luggage with both and unable to open the trunk is very uncommon and by the time you will not remember where it was placed and you will end up looking stupid while holding luggage trying to open the trunk.

Yes you did. It is a shame to see so many automakers playing follow the leader and doing away with the V8 and in many cases eliminating a six cylinder engine in favor of a four cylinder.

Always been a Nissan/Infiniti fan. Went away from the brand due to no new design and the tech wasn’t up to par. This suv has caught my eye. Would prefer the top trim level. Have to wait and see how dependable the first year of the redesign are.

I am older, I prefer shifters( lever). Prefer dash buttons for radio and hvac.

Infinity never bean a brand for six numbers price. Very disappointed with my one year old qx80 2024. Trash. Honestly. Its even feel cheap. Twice was on station fixing air conditioner during this year. Today I noticed stiring wheel has a cracked in a line where air bag supposed to deploy. Crazy. What kind of material they use!. Exterior design outdated but ok. Inside feels like barn on a wheel. No ambient light. no vent on seats. Looks dark and creepy at night drive. Very unwelcoming design. Cheap leather. I have premium select $84,000 tag price. Traded in my Audi Q7 I bought in 2018 for $74000 It has all packages and was so much better car. Traded only because warranty went out and its expensive to fix if anything happened. Due to inventory shortage got this infinity. This truck( its not luxury SUV as they states its truck don't be fooled) has terrible shock observers on back. feels like there is no any just old fashioned springs. Car will skidding on highway when you go through bumps. Terrible. They said they updated in new model (In most expensive version) And this monster eats gas like crazy. So, it was my mistake. Now what I see here truck for $70,000 max. You cant impress anyone with those futures anymore. You can get them on any Korean cars. Im moving back to q7. For money of this car I would take MB GLS or x7 BMW. Dead cat bounce this attempt to reanimate this line. It's dead. Never got tired to see interior design of German cars. For my infinity ,I have a feeling every time im going inside like im going to bed with woman I married and not loving her. Cant wait to get my divorce. Its one more year of my lease. Good luck with your choice , be wise and try other cars before you make your decision.

@sthrnbound Retractable running boards are great until they no longer work properly. Side steps affixed to the SUV allow for easy ingress/egress without any potential mechanical issues.

Well, the average car purchase is now between $40-45k... so yea, that's the new norm. We got people buying $60-80k Kias yet want to crucify Infiniti for charging 6 figures for their flagship model.

The dealership near me has the 2025 QX80 Autograph, it’s $112,000 and not worth it. I prefer the Lexus LX600 for that price. Plus in the first year not worth being a guinea pig.

Agreed about first-year guinea pig, beta tester, etc. One slam dunk feature is that for the Lexus LX600, with a bit of luck, one may get a new engine every year or so. Which other manufacturer offers such a perk?! (Sarcasm!)
