I shopped that entire segment for a family member and landed on this vehicle in the "L" model and 4x4. They ended up with circumstances changing and didn't need to buy it but got really close to pulling the trigger because the dealer prices alone were phenomenal. Also, wow when did you jump to over 20k subscribers? You just hit 10, that was quick. Way to go!

My wife has a 19 Cherokee Altitude with the 2.4. No problems at all. Plenty of room in it for her. Replaced the factory tires which were getting thin with Falken Wildpeak AT Trails and it’s a beast in the snow. Regular oil changes, tire rotations and maintenance. She’s very happy with it. Facts. I've had 3 generations of Grand Cherokee. A 2000, a 2008 and a 2014. All been solid. Lemons exist, but they are such a low number

I want a Gladiator in the future for a hunting truck. We've had a Grand Cherokee and a Commander and both were great. My wife just wanted something bigger. Her Yukon has been flawless for over six years.

I used to hate SUVs. Then we borrowed Gr Ch Loredo 2012 from my brother in law. That changed my mind and now we own a Forester. Looking back I wished we bought that Gr Ch from him when he was selling it. He sold it for equivalent of $6000. It is too wide for the Japanese roads and we are happy Forester. I still miss it sometimes, although it was too wide for my skinny a.. 😂 It has that 3.6 Pentastar. Good engine.

I would've disagreed with you vehemently 10 years ago, but now I think they're respectable. Jeep improved on what they had, while everyone else kept rerolling their options, starting from scratch over and over again, not testing them properly and pushing them out to the public. Hopefully tariffs don't price them out of the market.

There isn't one. There is the Chrysler Pacifica and then Honda, Toyota, KIA for minivans. Is it the sliding side door that's important to her? If you can live without that door then these 3 row SUVs are better. Minivans are kind of expensive, starting in the lower to mid 40k's and easily getting to 50k now. If you want one with AWD then you're stuck getting the Chrysler Pacifica of the Toyota Sienna. If I had to get one I would buy the Honda Odyssey because it has the same V6 engine from the Ridgeline which is very reliable.

Zf 8 speed is one of the most reliable (and great performing) automatic transmissions out there. It's not 2005 anymore.

My first car as adult was an 01 Jeep Cherokee. Complete junk. Terrible build quality. Countless repairs. Fought dealer and Chrysler on every repair. Four starters. Air conditioner went at 47K. Transmission at 71K. The purportedly “bulletproof” engine threw a connecting rod at 105K in a snowstorm in Vermont. I moved to Toyota and now we own 2 Lexus GXs and a 24 Subaru Ascent Onyx Limited. For the amount of money here customers can buy a certified 2020 Lexus GX with 60K. It is a Landcruiser with Lexus badging, will last far longer than these pieces of crap, and crush these (and any other Jeep) off road or in the snow. It will be running long after this junk is at the crusher. Oh, and the interior is fantastic with actual quality materials. Or buy this and get …. plenty of ports and chargers. And a lot of cheap plastic in the interior. Anyone dumb enough to put $35K or more into this POS deserves the outcome they receive.

@ lol! in your experience what is your definition of reliability? How many miles do you expect to get out of a vehicle before you get rid of it? A lot of us out here are driving 20+ year old vehicles that have 140k-200k+ miles. No way the vehicles on this channel are reliable or built for the long haul.
