Agree on the motul oil....I was on a BDR and went about 45 hours on my 450exc....oil still looked clean and red coming out. I'm normally changing at 25 hours. Nice build!

Do you favor motul 7100 10W40 or 10w50? Any reason…

I noticed none of your builds include a rear rack to reinforce the subframe when using something like the Mosko Moto Reckless 40 panniers. Do you find it's not necessary on the 2020-2023 KTM 500s, is the sub-frame strong enough to handle it? I'd rather not add weight/crap to the bike unless I really have to!

Yet another good video. Can I ask what rear tire you put on. I’m wanting a tire last 3weeks on the Spanish TET. Thanks Ian.

Mike- Another great bike, keep them coming! Quick question; Have you experimented with DMD Navigation system? Is there a reason you don’t install it on your builds (especially when you use a rally tower)?

Those mosko moto saddlebag mounts look like the go right where your leg is when your standing? Badass bike tho that guys got good taste In the build he had done. Well done Mike

Normally, they flatten those Giant Loop brackets so they don't protrude like that.....for that very reason.

Can you share what rear tire & size he is running on this build? I have a new 2024 500 EXC-F for all-sport riding (similar as described in this video) and I am planning on going with the same front tire as shown in video = Motoz Tractionator ST 90/100. I am thinking for the rear Motoz Tractionator IT but looking for size recommendations. Quick history: my KTM manual says stock rear tire is TKC-80 120/90 (profile height 108mm) however the bike came with TKC-80 140/80 (height 112mm), and the Motoz IT comes in 120/90 (h=108), 130/90 (h=117), and 140/80 (h=112).

Mike, not sure I've heard you mention it or not, but can you detail how (and what you use) to cut off the rubber protruding from the OEM drive sprocket so the DirtTricks washer will fit correctly?

Mike, I noticed you use different fuel injection clamps on your builds other than the OEM standard Dog-Eared ones. Are they just standard automotive FI clamps? Thank You. Nice Build.

I noticed you removed the reeds - what is the current knowledge on that? I have a pro moto billet cap, stock air filter with a base gasket + GET ECU in the mail. Is it recommended to remove the reeds for that build out, if I'm doing a mix of single track and desert riding?

Whats the GasGas equivalent of this bike? Is it the EW500f?

What is the EW500f? A local dealer has one on sale.
Non-related to this bike, but what are your thoughts on the Dirt Tricks cam chain tensioners vs stock. I don't think I've ever heard you mention them.

@REDRIDER10116 күн бұрын
This is 20k plus after mods. Bikes are roughly 16k out the door titled for road use(depending on zip code).

@@REDRIDER101I have a hunch it’s closer to $30k for bike, taxes, shipping, parts & labor. Inquiring minds want to know.
