Walked in to test drive the GX 550, walked out new owners of a CPO LX 570. It’s so much better than the GX - even looks better in person. We’re really loving it. The GX is very photogenic, while the LX is not. But, in person, it’s like the reverse is true.

V8 is smoother than the TTv6 and will be more reliable in the long run. The GX550 looks good on the outside but the interior is meh imho.

Great looking vehicle, so the LX is how much more? Is it worth the difference? I would only say compare them in person side by side. The dimensions in person are striking and will suprise you. As we all lament the bye bye V8, and I admit the V6 tt is more synthetic. When you become accustomed to the delivery of power, well I love it, Ill go against the tide. Great review as always. Ive been driving a lexus v6 tt since 18, zero issues.

I was really hoping they would give this the Hybrid Max 4 cylinder from the LC since the turbo 4 is smoother than this V6. Granted there is no fuel economy benefit with the Hybrid Max
