6 months ago I bought an RC 350 F-sport RWD 2017 after driving a chevrolet impala 2019 for 5 years. I never understood how some people fall in love with cars and I couldn't care less. Until i got the RC 350, now im in love and enjoy driving it. It improved the quality of my life. I'm sad its going away but at the same time it means that my care will be rare on the street. The RC is such a rare car to see on the streets. I live in Seattle and it seems like 50% of the cars on the road up here are Lexus models. I've probably seen 3 of them in the last 12 months. They're stunning in person.

In early 2018, I bought a new 2017 RCF from a dealership in Indianapolis. MSRP was around $67k back then. The car had sat for months and months, I was able to pick it up for around $53k. That was a good deal and I enjoyed the car for about a year before I got bored of the lack of torque. Great value and quality, just lacking in the sport/speed feel in MY opinion. I sold it for $49k to carvana, so fared ok. They also had a red GSF for the SAME price, I kind of regret not getting that instead of the RCF but I digress. Totally and 100% agree about the insane pricing. $90k + for an RCF is abhorrent and just so contrarian to the Lexus ethos of value for money. Weird way to go out.

Definitely sad news. I wasn’t even really aware of the RC until I went to a Lexus dealer a few days ago to look at the ES 350. Got sidetracked looking at the IS, but didn’t like the awkwardness of getting in and out. The sales rep suggested looking at the RC. Bottom line is that I fell in love! RC 350 F Sport is in my future.

I’m going to miss the RC. This coupe to me still looks the part, and even though it got old, the exterior still looked gorgeous, the interior still had that Lexus build quality that we all love, and to me the RC 350 AWD with the F Sport package was the best bang for the buck. The 3.5L N/A V6 with that 6 speed automatic and AWD was just the perfect combination for this and the IS 350 AWD F Sport.

i have driven both the LC500 and the RCF TRACK EDITION many times and considering they are around the same price i would take the RCF TRACK EDITION ,,any day of the week over the LC500 but i lean more toward the performance side of these cars GRANTED....THE LC 500 is a great GT car and looks good but if you are looking at performance,,..overall the RCF is..the better car,,,, the TRACK EDITION looks about just as good as the LC500...IN my opinion is faster about 450 pounds lighter better driving car on the winding roads and much better on the track....i have had them both on track... and i think the track edition will keep its value better...mainly because it is a very limited car..but if you want a car the looks great sounds good and drives like a dream on those daily driving and long trips.....go for the LC500

I own a 2021 RC 350. I couldn't care less about a wireless phone charger or the dated infotainment system. I'm too busy enjoying driving the car to care about all that. If I cared about all that I would have leased a German.

Dude, the car got Lexus Safety System upgraded just in 2023. And the stupid infotainment in ES is buggy. The new one, also wireless charger, really ? On a goddamm F car ? The real issues are they did not upgrade the chassis or gave the 5.4L engine from.

I own a 2015 RC350 F sport AWD , and love the car, it’s built like a tank , no issues , and if you need to buy one buy the 350 forget the rest It’s so well built

I have a 2016 RC 350 F-sport awd, great car. 10 years with the same basic body style is an eternity for a Japanese brand. It's good for people like me with the early models, to the untrained eye they look the same as the newer years. 😂 Sad to see it go away but sporty coupes seem to have no place in a world that is crazy for crossover SUVs. Honestly I'm surprised it lasted this long. I fear the great LC is next. 😢

As someone who owns an IS500 it definitely “feels” like a $60k car from the mid-2010s, but aside from the CD/DVD player, nothing unnecessary in the interior nonetheless - especially if you’re jumping into it from an older car. If I dropped more than $80k on a car and it drove like my IS, as much as I love it, I would admit I’d be disappointed. I like to think I have the ‘Super Sayin 2’ of the F lineup (If you’ve ever watched DBZ you know what I mean lol) as opposed to having the top of the line model. It gives you a ‘taste’ but leaves you wanting more, and that shouldn’t be the case in a $90k vehicle.

That's an excellent price well done just watch out for TVD replacement costs heard it's over $20k to replace TVD if something goes wrong

Hard disagree on IS500 and LC500 being better than RCF. I put thousands of miles on IS500 and RCF, the winner is the Radical Coupe, flat out. Forged suspension components, high rigidity chassis which is bespoke and not a TGNA-L LS based of LC, Steering feedback on the RCF is exceptional and feels much better and confident than LC500, Additional cooling is not just for show, the High G capability of RCF and the ability to enjoy with S+ Manual without getting overheated alone beats LC500, also IS 500 has floating calipers on the back and going past 100Mph on IS vs RCF is a massive difference, where RCF feels magnetic to the road and acts as an extension of the driver. Then you have TVD, world's most unique aspect, even VGRS of LC cannot match due to the fact that RCF does not use ABS and Braking to vector torque but rather a complex ECU system with clutch packs, TVD RCFs are so many on used and it shows how well Lexus made their TVD for first and last time. RCF is the pinnacle of old Lexus, In Pursuit of Perfection. It has GT3 racing motorsport pedigree, TMC denied Yuuchi Tsurumoto's request of GT3 5.4L engine in Track Edition else it would have been another LFA. Yes Final Edition is not great, but at-least they did something. RCF status is now Legendary.

Yea I was really pissed when my LC overheated in the starbucks drive thru it was a real bummer 😂 if you like the RC God Bless enjoy my friend. Just watch out for that TVD repair bill if it does go wrong I pray it doesn't.

Ive been lucky enough to find a low mileage 2015 350 f sport at 24k miles. All i had to deal with was the speaker amp was dead. Some Rich guy in beverly hills never drove it really. It going to last me for a long time its a weekend/ date night car. Cherishing it

Its funny you make this. It had just popped back into my head just a week and a half ago, "oh yeah, that's a car that exists.." I immediately familiarized myself with the used market pricing. Current generation 350 f package (2019+) are fairly expensive still. Mid 30s or higher. Previous generation though, can easily be had for under $20K. My main cause for skip is there is seemingly no manual in the current gen and the infotainment system is still the track pad if I'm not mistaken... Looking to learn that last bit in this video. That and I think, overall, they cost too much for what they're worth. Whether they're new OR used.

Thanks Kevin for helping me appreciate the LC500 and IS500 🎉 I've never been crazy about the RCF cause i'm not a fan of the looks. Yeap looks are subjective. It has good performance numbers. Lexus made it hard on the enthusiasts with the locked ECUs. Stangs and Camaros simply have better aftermarket support.

when model been discontiuned the manufactor have 10 ten to still make part of that model. i wondering what happen after 10 ten how are we lexus rc getting part at? wish there request to still make for the part due to repair etc for exmaple if you hit on pothole and need part for suspenison etc . . . or we ask other company forge the part or make the part i was thinking anyway we need voice let manufactor heard our voice to still contiune making part for lexus rc or at least request for made inorder to keep up our car last forever until we die or pass away :) . . .

Yep pretty poor 90k global sales in 10 years is pathetic nobody cares about Lexus performance cars everyone sees German cars as being far superior to this. So Lexus just ramped up prices year after year since nobody's buying them anyway might as well charge a lot from the few who do appreciate it.

Yea love the LC even after all the performance cars I've driven like C8 Z06, GT3, GT4 RS, etc I would still buy another LC it's just that good for the streets
