You gatekeeping me bro? Yes - it appears I did. To make a long story short, I accidentally put a noise gate on the wrong track which then partially mutes and chops out sounds from on the course. I appreciate everyone that constructively let me know in the comments and I've already gone to my Fountain template and turned it off. Funny thing is, at 4AM before my final export I thought, "oh, I should put this on the master channel because that might be smart". Well, clearly it wasn't and it should be fixed for the rest of the rounds. Sorry about that, that's a bogey on my part.

I've been playing disc golf long enough that I fondly recall the pros starting the season playing the memorial championship presented by discraft every year. It's hard to think of a more iconic starting hole than hole 1 in regards to kicking off the season imo. Thank you for continuing to cover this event!

Quick editing tip: please dont add noise reduction or a gate to the live players audio, makes it sound very unnatural. Its okay on the voiceover tho. Great to see the coverage!

Terry after reading these comments and seeing your response, if you’re deaf in one ear why are you the one doing any editing?!? 😂 also NEVER put a gate over action sports coverage. Adding it for your commentary is one thing but not over the audio from the tournament. Even then, the threshold/ attack of the gate was set wrong… Not a single person would hate you if you decide to take this down and re-edit…

I certainly know the difference yet in any given sentence, still spit out the wrong one because then I'm in the middle of second-guessing myself. Farther is like an actual measured distance and more often than not the one we should be using.

😆 It's so true! I know what you mean. I say the wrong one and then quickly fix it :) With disc golf just go with farther and you'll be correct 99% of the time.
