Hey, I got my PHEV Outlander SE 2025 last month. And I already drove over 4000 kms. As I live in alberta and its winter time here now. my PHEV is struggling to drive in EV mode. That means, when ever I turned on heater it turned on the main engine. And for some reason from last one week. I can smell the gas smell in the cabin with heater on. Do you know if thats normal smell in these vehicles! FYI this is my 2nd brand new outlander the first one I got in 2022 Gas engine only. And I never had any problems like this in that car.

​@@gautamtalkscanada when it's very cold (like -10 C or below) the gas engine will come on frequently to support the current needed to heat the cabin You should not be smelling any gas in the cabin, I'd suggest bringing to the dealership for that

Hope the battery management is better on these than the earlier model..😏🙏, i have a 2020 2.4 phev & the battery degradation is terrible!!
