Holy smokes the amount of work that went into this is amazing! I love the deep dives!!! I don't know how likely it is that he breaks into draft prospect territory but I am a fan of Isaac Nogues' game too!!!! I understand why a guy who had a potentially career disrupting injury wouldn't be on this list yet-- But I do want to try to contribute that Bassala Bagoyoko did just officially sign with Surne Bilbao in the ACB. He was looking ridiculously good, breaking out as a starter in his 3rd season in the top Spanish league as a 16 year old and was probably the best player on his team (which was admittedly bad, but way more competent w/him than without)... Before he did get injured. Breaking Luka and Ricky Rubio records for age and productivity and what not. I'm pretty hyped to see his return, I think he should probably at the very least tentatively be on radars so I'm just sounding off about him
@jazzisfrommars247615 күн бұрын
Injury was an ACL and also a meniscus tear at the same time IIRC? It was ~November 2022 and he hasn't played since. Idk, I could see if it wound up being a Greg Oden/Harry Giles type of thing, that's a nasty injury. But if it isn't and he transitions back well, even amidst the lost time that guy could easily be a lottery pick. Oh, David Mirkovic of SC Derby (Adriatic ABA Superleague) is a pretty interesting watch too!!!

I've looked at a lot of these mock drafts, and I don't see a guy who would have been a lottery pick in the 2024 draft. He was literally the best player on the G league Elite team. Dink Pate is a beast, and you were the only mock draft to include him. Dink is now close to 6'10 and will probably be 6'10/ 6'11 when the 2025 draft comes around.

I'm an admittedly biased Australian hoops-nerd, but even I'm very unsure about having Rocco Zikarsky ahead of VJ Edgecombe and Nolan Traore. I love Rocco's upside, and I've been following his progress extremely closely for years, as he's from my home city (Brisbane, Australia).... but Edgecombe and Traore look like much better prospects than Rocco, in my opinion. Zikarsky has been undoubtedly dominant in junior international competitions.... but I'm not convinced his dominance has been due to his "killer instinct" or skillset, as opposed to the advantage he has being 7'2" or 7'3" since he was 15 years old. Honesty, I hope I'm wrong in my assessment, as I'm excited to have even more talented Australian players in the NBA! I just think he's more a mid to late lottery guy, rather than a top-5 pick. Dash Daniels (Dyson's younger brother) is going to be an elite Australian prospect in the 2026 draft, so I'm pretty pumped to see how that plays out in a couple of years too! Either way.... I love your work, KeAndre! You're great at what you do mate!
