The idea that Shedeur went from 3 star HBCU QB to a possible Top 5 pick is pretty amazing. Having the human hype machine as your Dad helps, but he has played pretty exceptional without much of an offensive line and barely a defense. He or Cam will be the 1st QB taken, and Beck is going to fall to later in the first. He is a human interception machine. He will have to sit for awhile just like he did at Georgia.

As a Cowboys fan, they NEED a WR more than a lot of fans seem to think. The problem is, it's about how much the Jones' STILL value RB's. Jeanty is about as close as a "GENERATIONAL TALENT" at the RB position as you can get. And "CONVENTIONAL WISDOM" says, you ALWAYS take the "GENERATIONAL TALEN." There are a lot of "GOOD" / "GREAT" WR's in this draft, including Egbuka Embuka - who is one of the WR's I had Dallas "TARGETING" "BEFORE" the season WENT OFF THE RAILS, but I don't necessarily see any of the WR's currently as "GENERATIONAL." Of course, this was "BEFORE" Jeanty REALLY EXPLODED. If the Jones' see it that way, and Jeanty is STILL ON THE BOARD when THEY'RE ON THE CLOCK, I can see them drafting him, then drafting a WR in the 2nd. round. If Jeanty is gone, I can see them drafting a WR in the 1st. round, then a RB in the 2nd. REMEMBER: This draft is LOADED at the positions Dallas NEEDS help at - and that includes on defense, too. They have to capitalize. ONE MORE THING TO REMEMBER: When people do these 1st. round mock drafts, fans have a tendency to act like that's the only pick they have in the whole draft. A team can always come back after the 1st. round and get a player - or position - fans think they need.

@henrygettler339 I ABSOLUTELY don't have a problem with the Cowboys drafting Jeanty if he's still on the board, and as long as they try to take care of their other needs, fairly high in the draft. I've been saying - for years - since they avoid spending big money in free-agency, like it's COVID-19 or they're ALLERGIC to it, I don't understand why they don't try to acquire another 1st. or 2nd. rounder, etc, to get the players / positions they need. Even trading a future pick or two would help them. As far as bringing a FB back, they won't be doing that - at least not full time. The NFL has moved passed that. That's 20th. CENTURY football and Dallas is already half-a**ed stuck in the 20th. CENTURY with the schemes their running. That's part of their problem. Besides running an occasional play with a FB here and their, particularly in SHORT YARDAGE and GOAL LINE situations, they won't use a FB too often anymore. They "TECHNICALLY" have one on the roster, but most of the time teams that run a play that uses a FB just put in a backup OL or even a DT and save the roster spot of having an actual FB on the roster for another position more important in today's game.

#6 New Orleans will possibly take a receiver. They already took rattler he looked pretty good but his receivers always let him down. I think you stick with him for now and let him develop into the offense. Also I think Cameron ward will either end up on the raiders or Seahawks (hot take maybe the dolphins) the raiders already have a good TE and decent receivers. Offense line and can use some work and with max Crosby at the defense the raiders can build from that. #1 it’s out of order but I don’t think Sanders is going to the panthers I think the panthers will trade down.
