My wife and I plan to buy the new Armada sometime late next year. It's beautiful. We just bought a new 2024 Nissan Titan Pro4X. But she also wants the Armada. But we have to wait this one out. You can probably get better deals at the end of the year and make sure there's no issues with the new model.

For me, the part time 4 wheel drive and non-flattened third row is deal breaker for Toyota, so Amanda is the winner!

Sequential turn signals were mentioned several times, something about modernization? You do realize the Mercury Cougar had these in the late 60’s right? Armada for me, especially with all the issues Toyota is having right now with engines, transmissions and just plain quality.

Armada, the 3rd row and cargo area of the Sequoia is horrible.

Agreed. I was able to examine both vehicles at the OC Autoshow. The Armada 2nd and 3rd rows are more comfortable than those in the Sequoia, partly because of more cushioning. Seated in the Armada's 3rd row, you do not have your knees in your chest like in the Sequoia. The Armada's 2nd row can move forward, giving third-row passengers even more room if necessary. The Sequoia's 3rd row slides forward, reducing 3rd-row legroom. The second row is fixed in position. The 2nd and 3rd rows fold flat in the Armada. Because of the batteries, the Sequoia's 3rd row folds higher than the second. The Sequoia has those shelves behind the 3rd row, but the space behind the Armada's 3rd row is larger. You can always make your own shelves if you really want them. I need a large vehicle with three rows, and I was planning on purchasing the Sequoia since I like Toyota products. But once the press release for the Armada came out, I decided to wait to see what the pricing for the Armada was and reviews from auto reviewers. There are many other reasons to like the Armada over the Sequoia, though the Sequoia is a known entity. I am 99% sure I will go with the Armada unless test drives indicate it is a dog on the road and dirt. That won't be very likely.

Armada is winner, toyota 3.5 engine is garbage sucks too much fuel and its new, they already have recalls. Nissan 3.5 Turbo is there from years...

The new 2025 Nissan armada would be my pick. I think they did a fantastic job with the new body style front and back sideview view anterior. They did a great job the new 2025 Toyota Sequoia looks good but the body style front sideview back interior it’s just not for me. The Nissan armada 2025 👍

I can see failing modules right after warranty runs out and few recalls, i like the armada but I’ll sit this one out until they get the bugs fixed 💆‍♂️

An important factor which wasn't cover is the manufacturer's warranty that comes with each. This might have been an important factor to make a clear winner or at least offer another comparison point for consideration. Thank you for the video.

Armada is more appealing. On the other hand, Toyota is Toyota: the most reliable brand in the world. However, no matter how much Toyota tries to modernize, it somehow never comes out of its conservative stance. Armada, on the other hand, is more modern, stylish, bold, and sexy with an attitude.

There’s nothing conservative about the Sequoia the engineers messed up plain and simple. There’s no flat load floor. The middle seats don’t move. The rear packaging is the worst. I’ve almost ever seen on this huge of a vehicle and trust me. It is huge in person. I can’t describe how poorly done the cargo area is. My spouse only buys Toyotas and when I lifted the rear hatch, she said this is terrible. Nope the instrument clutch cluster the molding around. It is not one solid piece of dashboard if you push on it and moves all over the place and squeaks it was disappointing to say the least becauseI like the exterior looks, but I have no idea what they are going to accomplish with this vehicle. What I can tell you is that the Chevy Tahoe will continue to out sell the sequoia 1 million to one. The Nissan looks very nice on the other hand, but I haven’t seen it in person.

It always gets criticized for it. And I don’t care what Toyota says. No one’s gonna buy the sequoia. All they ever do is keep five on the lot and go see we sold them all. Yeah big deal Chevy sells five Tahoe’s every five minutes.

Well, I truly love the staling of the Armada. One thing that I'm really opposed to it having Google built. I am not fond of Google being places. I absolutely don't need it. So frankly, with Toyota's track record of having a long lasting vehicles and the exclusion of Google built-in I literally would have to choose Toyota.

Without even considering anything else in a big SUV, I would always chose a bigger displacement and more cylinders (Armada) over overworked small engine (Toyota). So Armada.
