Hi Holic, I’m a little concerned about this season, there’s a couple of things that need a lot of attention in my humble opinion and the first is the speed the Warriors play the game, l believe they have to play like it’s their last day on earth, go hell for leather and have the fitness to do so and it has to happen every week. Another concern is do we have those players with that speed and flair I believe is vital in the modern game? We haven’t heard much about their preseason training but let’s hope they come out of it the fittest team in the comp.🤞🏼I also believe this season could make or break Mr Webster’s coaching career. Yeah I tend to agree, we have to play up tempo, I think we have some fast forwards who can get us a roll on, but agree we could use a bit more elusive speed outside. DWZ is quick but not what I would call elusive. That said I think him and RTS will be about to get us a good amount of momentum. Totally agree, we’ve seen very little of the preseason, I have no idea what to expect other than the boys look lean.

Penrith don't have the fastest wingers or tallest, even fullback and hooker are not that big or fast. Both second rowers are small too compared to most teams!!! Cardio is king in Penrith! It's fitness and game plan. What style of footy does the coach want to play. Obviously the coach knows what he's doing! Hello he was part of Penrith winning culture!!! As long as the team trains hard, no whinging or whining!!! JFH will show these guys how it's done. But I know these local boys are not use to training hard like the island boys who grew up in Australia. Big difference in shape and size. I believe in the warriors more than you guys. It's disappointing and absolutely disgraceful! Grow some.... 🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️

@@Damanofdahour thank for the feedback mate. Seems like there’s a bit of depth to how you’re thinking about it too. What Penrith do took 7-8 years to build, that’s what we need to realize. We will never be able to buy the players to implement their approach, we couldn’t get them here and we couldn’t fit them under the cap. Will take time to build that culture and depth is all in saying. And sharing this kind of info is purely designed to give the average fan a little context and a different perspective. If you think than means I don’t have faith, that’s a shame, but it’s all good. We all have our own takes so I appreciate you sharing yours 💚💙❤️

Not long to wait now bro! Sure we have lost experience but hell there is still plenty across the team from CNK at FB through to Egan at hooker so that is not a worry for me. Halfs are the key for me. Boyd (vastly under rated by most) and Metcalf are very different players but that can be huge bonus to form a good combination.If they do find a good combo and stay healthy we should be playing finals footie. If one believes Sharkies podcasters Healey could easily be a "bolter" into top side this year.

All good points! I agree with you on how many minutes to play JFH. I noticed that the Kiwis played him longer minutes than what Penrith normally did, and that got me a bit worried! I hear what you're saying about the lost experience, but Tohu and SJ only really played half a season in '24, so maybe that experience lost might average out to be a bit less... but definitely compared to the '23 team, it's a huge drop.

Yeah I agree re Tohu and SJ, I actually mentioned that about SJ in Part II. Also agree, I hope we don’t over play Fish, need his body to hold up a few more years

AFB may have stood still and time and may have not took tackles he should have . It was frustrating to watch but look at why he probably did those things he put in so much effort when others just didn't even want to be on the field he'd put us back in games we had no chance of winning when stood back there was a look of what's the point on his face

Stats don't tell you how hard you chase the kicks, tackle, run or how fit you are. That's what JFH has over all these Warriors players put together. More rings than you'd ever know!! So don't talk crap about JFH!!!! You should be lucky he's there. 🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️ no appreciation but criticism without even touching a ball this year!!! I guess that's the Warriors culture!!! It has worried me that the warriors pack really lacks size. AFB and Tohu were our only real big units. The replacements are all smaller. So Webby has no choice but to go with a quick game, we can't do the power game. Big packs, riding penalties/6 agains could monster us! You are always hopeful at the start of the season, but my expectations are well tempered.

Keep and eye out for Bishop Neal, playing 12 for the Harold Matts this weekend, about 194cm at 16 and I have good mail that he could be destined to play Cup this season at 17. He’s a massive unit and extremely athletic from what I’ve seen

James meters and post contact meters use were to be way higher a few years ago. Penrith must have gone with a more managed and smarter approach to preserve him, and just let him get through his core roles
