I had the gastric bypass done 22 years ago. I don't regret at all. I have lost almost 175 lbs. The things you say are silly are not. I remember the first time I was able to cross my legs I cried. The little things that people take for granted are huge to people who are so desperately trying to loose weight. If you have any questions I am here for you. I had mine in 2017, and I am down 135 pounds. The leg-crossing was a revelation for me! I have been big my whole life and never understood why people say like that because it was so uncomfortable. Now, I sit like that all the time!! 🎉 Celebrate every small accomplishment no matter how "silly" you feel like they are. It is a journey, and every step is important (even when they seem to be in the wrong way). ❤❤❤

Because of you, I WAS going to get the PaperTess planner. But when Faded Chronicle came out with hers, I decided to go for it. It is my first undated planner, but the functionality of the FC one really called to me. My Hobonichi Weeks for 2025 may not make the cut. After all the hub-bub about the paper, I did a test. HALF of my fountain pens are bleeding, not ghosting, full on bleeding through to the other side. Seems like there are allll kinds of issues with the cream Hobonichis, so the five-year and weeks are causing an uprising! I may go for a B6 slim and ditch the weeks size entirely. I almost can't believe it, I have been a diehard weeks user for seven years 😭

I am the exactly the same moved from hobonichi to sterling ink. Some people are saying that the hobonichi this year is ghosting a lot. I don’t know if it is a bad batch. Great to have you back Hope surgery goes well ❤

I'm so happy to see you again! I had a gastric bypass on March of '23, and it is life changing. I found the behavioral therapist that was part of my process to be helpful for unpacking my relationship to food, which is still a bit terrible, if I'm being honest. I'm now able to do 5 mile hikes and improving monthly. You will get there! It is life changing and it is tricky if you are the main meal preparer for you family because they will eat differently than you (more protein, veggies and as few carbs as you can) and you may end up cooking a meal for them and something a bit different for yourself for a while, but it is totally worth it. I hope the surgery goes smoothly and your recovery is untroubled!

I prefer the dailies not being dated as well. Grew up with 12 hour clock but I can use the 24 hour clock, that’s what we use at the hospital as well. Good to hear your voice, I’ve had a bit of a rough patch the last couple of months not from planning though at least not as much but trying to get back in the swing of things

May I suggest that the photo journal the one with four boxes landscape that you use it for progress photos regarding your weight loss. No need to wait for the new year! And each spread could be photos of all four sides of you as you lose weight. Maybe start weekly as this are happening quickly and then monthly. I know when I lost a bunch of weight the before photos shock everyone! Good luck!

Im surprised you didn't check out the Twines and Paper Week book hybrid. Its available in B6 and A5. I preordered the A5. Its like 2 planners in one since it has both horizontal and vertical weekly pages. After watching a lot of your videos the week book hybrid seems to match your planning style.

My mother in law had it done... It does change your tummy BUT you have to make sure you're eating right and staying active for the weight to stay off because if not then your stomach just expands again! Im excited for you... Its life changing!!! I cant wait to see what amazing positive changes come your way! Im also excited you are using the same sizes as me for next year. TN is my EDC, faith and health (im on a journey to losing 50+ lbs) so im definitely excited to see how you get everything set up!

I just began to watch videos on KZbin. May I suggest that you sound like you are harshly judging yourself. I hope that comment doesn’t offend. I hearing stress. Be kind to yourself. Lifestyle change is a slow and steady process. It’s about continuous behavior for positive wellbeing. May I suggest when you take a photo each month , include for yourself a positive weight loss affirmation that you can repeat to yourself as a mantra, to help relax you and help block out the negative thoughts of the past. It’s a form of self grace. I use this method when I am really stress or hearing negative self thoughts. To Love is to be human. To be human is to understand we need grace, when he is merciful. Grace please in speaking to you so boldly. I understand I haven’t been watching all your videos so i don’t know your whole story. If you have teenagers then i encourage you to have grace for yourself. From a mom to a mum. God Bless.😊
