Hi! native angelino and I was the music/sound mixer for the tv broadcast (the video/audio feed that is taken by the many live broadcast affiliates) and I just want to say when these guys appeared they absolutely destroyed the place, has got to be the dopest marching band performance I have EVER seen, and not gonna lie i got a little misty myself at all these people just doing something at the highest level, because, it's amazing. So, so good.song selection?hilarious and cheeky.Performance, A++++, dancers? 🤯haha.way to make it fun again. HUGE smiles. JSU Band, I see now why you are called the sonic boom of the south. Respect.

As someone who isn't an HBCU Alum but have watched many Rosebowls Parades, JSU Sonic Boom, literally reset the spice bar for all other HBCU Colleges in this parade going forward. J5 and J-Settes cut up at high energy the entire route! The unison of the band and the plumes on the hats was next level! And the sound…TOP TIER. Also, shout out to the banner girls as well!
