I didnt expect anything seeing Sparg0 going into RIvals 2. Every match I expected the top players to dominate him, but its amazing how far he made it. He brought cakeassault to g5 with a Clairen thats very far from being optimized. His potential is unfathomable. And that he played Ultimate after this run and didnt seem negatively impacted is just very impressive

I don’t think you can say onin is the best Steve player in NA anymore, with how cracked Syrup has been. He has consistently better placements everywhere.

I see that, it might be possible to argue that Syrup not playing Solo Steve kinda skews his results when talking about being the best steve though. I agree with you, just think that might be a possible argument

Actually, zomba beat leo at Luminosity invitational 2, after leo had beaten both gluto and shinymark. So... a noticable loss, and not as much of a gap as you'd imagine.

@@Inksploded It's very difficult to do well competitively when playing two different platformer fighting games at once. To win the Ultimate main event and also place 2nd at the Rivals of Aether II event at LMBM, while beating a lot of Rivals' top players, is insane. It's like what Wizzrobe did at Smash N' Splash 5 where he won the Melee supermajor and made top 8 at the Ultimate supermajor at the same time, while beating players like Tweek.
