Ooohh, you might like some of the Demoji sticker from my shop. I have tarot, crystals, "woo woo" stuff lol. I'm also learning Japanese and ordered a B6 Slim Horizontal for it. I'm using thr weekly section to write a sentence or two a day, then the blank side next to it to write any corrections. The pages at the back will be for working from workbooks etc. Going to do a setup and show how I use it when I get it.

So exciting to see the first A6 unboxing…I just got my shipping notification for mine (A6 Vertical Compact Forest/Gilded) and I’m really glad that it lays flat so nicely, and that the printing is so nice and subtle! Love the inclusion of the writing board/calendar/artwork! What a nice little gift! I’m getting an A5 Vertical…not sure if I’m getting the every day dated, the split year, or the common planner…or the color, lol. But, I have time to think about it. Finding a cover that is not ridiculously expensive and will tolerate being banged around in my purse for a year for the A6 is my challenge right now. I’d like one that zips all the way around so it doesn’t get grimy/lost/bashed up, and those are few and far between. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know!

Would a clear cover work? That will protect it and not be expensive. You can then decorate it however you like.

@@chapter48creative yes, I have a clear cover for it. I wanted something that would keep it from getting messed up in my purse, and I like zip around covers for something like that. I just need to hunt around, I’ll find something.

Lol, i have zero impulse control... I'm a horizontal girlie, and I already ordered my weeks, but I'm so tempted by the SI B6 horizontal full year. It's "the" planner I've been screaming I need for several years now... then Catherine puts out the dated daily, which I've said would be ideal to replace the cousin since I don't use the weeklies. Now I'm torn. I can only handle and keep up with so many planners and journals, and I know I "need" the PTD pocket. I also ordered the b6 slim, but I think it's going to be my work planner... so yea... here we go 😂😂🩵

Ooh so exciting! I got the half year 2024 a6 recently and it’s laying flat for me and it’s such an adorable size! I’m a bit dubious as to what I’m going to use my b6 slim from SI for, it was supposed to be a work planner but then I got the jibun Techo 😂 oh man I hope all goes well for your dog, I saw this lady who used her spare hobonichi weeks to keep track of her cats poop and medication!

😂 I do not imagine keeping track of Dutch's poops, but I will take lots more photos of his sweet face (all covered in white now) and make notes about him each day...even if it's things like "I freakin' love the way Dutch comes and tells me when it's time to put the planners away and come snuggle." 🫶🏻

These kinds of journals are great for studying Japanese! I use a cousin and a weeks and it has totally motivated m to study vs using a regular notebook

I find it helpful too! Also for 2 ideas for language: I thought to use the weeklies to either do word of the day vocab OR for one particular day’s study - so at minimum it’s once a week (and highlight the weekday to indicate which day the entire spread belongs to (and additional days study goes in the blank pages and indexed)

Oh! They must update the Hobonichi site prices for the yen conversion! So, maybe it's 2800 yen, and they update the other country prices to the current rate of conversion price?

The prices on launch day were apparently ‘incorrect’ so they have now reflected the ‘correct’ price, hence an increase in the prices. Which seems silly bc you would think they would check if the prices are correct before launch day!

Comment 2 cause why not, I went to the garage fridge, yeah, don’t ask, we have so much food that when the zombie apocalypse happens we are prepared unless a whole lot of people show up knowing we have food but anyway, I hear this distinctive leaves rustling, this ain’t the pretty fall leaves, these would be dead leaves so I go to investigate, I am thinking snake 🐍 and honestly should have gotten my 85 year old mother for this situation, she takes care of the snakes with a garden hoe, don’t come for me people, there isn’t a way to take care of a rattle snake other than off with its head but don’t come for me but thank goodness it was this cute turtle, my outdoor game is not strong enough to know what kind of turtle so I go and get the 85 year old woman anyway, an abundance of caution ⚠️ you know, and she was like, are you dumb, that is a box turtle, then he got his head stuck under the garage and Annie was going to open the door but I was like, NO it will go down first and not up sooooo, she goes outside and backs him up and I lower and raise the door and he comes on in the garage and I scream cause why not, I grab the phone, she grabs the turtle, I asked if we could keep him and she was like, why do you wan to keep this turtle, you have screamed like 4 times now. I was like, oh yeah but he is so cute and she said, he gets to be cute outside and I am like okay I guess. 😬 And that was enough outdoors for me for today okay byeeee! Byeu

That B6 slim is so good! I am sticking to the plan, it isn’t really a plan, it is more like a choice, and I thought I had all of the time in the world but noooo, September 15th is coming right on up and I ain’t ready. A5 or B6…..all of the time in my head back and forth back and forth honestly it is exhausting. 🥱 I am also here to report that you received your package from Japan plus one week and I still HAVE NOT (sorry shouty) received mine from JetPens! Have I looked this up, nooooo, I am in some sort of denial about the entire situation and hope that it just magically shows up on my doorstep, is this wise, probably not, but here we all are?!?! 😬 my normal self would be tracking this like it was some sort of Fort Knox delivery but I also live in Burneyville, OK, well not exactly Burneyville, I mean if I lived in a place with a name like that I would move immediately, there is not a name that sounds more southern AND (sorry shouty) hick than Burneyville, but it is my postal code and does have the most tiny post office ever, what was I sayin? Oh yeah, Burneyville adds on at least a day, possibly 5, cause it has to get to Burneyville, and then from there to me which is another day, rural is rural and JetPens obviously knows this and removes the Jet from Pens just for me and Burneyville?!?! 😬 A5 or B6, A5 or B6, okay byeeeeee! 👋🏻 😂
