You can also preset the temputure in the app for remote start. Its under climate in app. You can set the heated seats or ventilated seats on and off and temperature.

Hi Keith, sometimes when I start my 2025 Camry, instead of starting in EV mode, the engine starts right away. Has this ever happened to you? Just wondering if this is normal.

@@DJwCW hello @DJwaCW , what’s the climate like where you live, I noticed if it’s cold, the engine will start right away, and that is to get the heat going in your car as far as the climate control system is concerned, also it depends on how much the hybrid battery is charged.

You must be talking about the camera infront of the rear view mirror(facing the front of the car). I believe that is for lane assist readings and signs(like speed limits ect.).
