The Camry and ES are both built in Kentucky, not Japan.

Wrong. Lexus ES made in US Kentucky plant so it’s shouldn’t get dinged over that as we know Japan made Toyota/Lexus are better man than their USA made counterparts.

25 Camry is probably better value right now but 24 ES is likely a better ride overall to comfort, quietness, audio so comparing the specs in this manner only give a partial picture of the difference.

true, Lexus comfort and a bit more space. It comes down to price, and what folks want to spend. A 50% premium for the Lexus product may be justifiable for some, and not for others. Personal preference. The Camry is the better bang for the buck. The Lexus is more upscale and luxurious. Both excellent and reliable, and use the same engine, tranny and hybrid system (identical).
