Thanks Eric for that awesome review. It’s nice to see that Canada is going to get three models. I think this vehicle will do very well. Looking forward to the next video. Thank you.

Eric, have you compared the Land Cruiser to the Grand Highlander? Checking for options suitable to the Denver area

Not side by side. I do have a Grand Highlander video review on the channel however. kzbin.info/www/bejne/f4u3f314p5J-opI But off the cuff, I would say that you're similar in size, but the Grand Highlander is a unibody crossover with 3 rows of seats and the Land Cruiser is a body on frame SUV with only 2 rows. I don't recall fuel economy numbers but I would think they tilt in favor of the Grand Highlander. The Land Cruiser iForce MAX hybrid is really more about power than efficiency. If you're heading more into the back country and you don't need seating for 7 and don't mind higher fuel economy - go Land Cruiser. But if you're more of a daily driver with occasional trips to Breckenridge, Snowmass or golf at Arrowhead, The Grand Highlander may be a better choice.

@@TheNovakReport Grand Highlander hybrid is 7L/100KM, it's pretty much the same as the Corolla gas! But yes, the LC hybrid is more like a supplement of power than efficiency, different structures.

Major markets like China and US/CAN are hybrid only, meaning the raised trunk floor is actually not perfect for Costco!
@TheNovakReportАй бұрын
I filmed this in Canada and used it to go to Costco with no difficulty. I'm not sure why you feel a hybrid would hinder its ability to be used as a grocery getter.
@canto_v12Ай бұрын
@ it’s not the best load height, the hybrid battery elevates the trunk floor by a few inches. Probably not a big deal for light items
@TheNovakReportАй бұрын
@canto_v12 The hybrid battery is located under the rear seat, and not under the cabin itself. That isn't necessary when it's merely a standard hybrid vehicle, as opposed to a PHEV or a full BEV. And given that the Land Cruiser only comes equipped with the iForce Max hybrid, there is no way to say that a non hybrid would have a lower load floor height.

You're reaching bud!
@canto_v1227 күн бұрын
@@ytj22 I don’t mind reaching, since I have one. But it’s still true IMO. Heavy loads need extra effort and that’s the price of making it more fuel efficient. Countries where a non-hybrid is available will also get a third row and a lower load floor. In the LC, the hybrid battery is indeed under the raised trunk floor.

You spelled "Informative and accurate KZbin commentary" incorrectly. Silly mistake, but it happens. Thanks again for the additional comment. It's very helpful!
