Was at my local dealership for some routine service and while I waited I walked the lot .... nothing but tacos & tundras. The pricing is crazy to say the least, a ton of 2024s just picking up dirt and ashes from the LA fires. cheers everyone.

Pricing isnt bad.. super comparable to other trucks out now also the increase is basically the same as the jump from 1st gen to 2nd gen.. stock non TRD 3rd gens with salvage titles are still selling for 40k+ Open your eyes be realistic and quit pushing negative hype Also drive one for a week... that 4 banger bangs hard

The 2025 still has the same weak point in the transmission that hasn’t been fixed. New Tacoma’s have massive transmission recalls all over the country.

Dealership shouldn't have put the $5K markup on the Trailhunter in the first place. They only removed it after their greed was publicized on KZbin. Kudos to people like Kenny for exposing this kind of dealership bull💩. I hear you my friend but what I will say is they have a lot of really nice folks at this dealership sometimes you just have to do what your told lol and sometimes we want to try to make the most we can on a deal lol it’s just a different market and economy now things are just expensive to pay extra for nothing! If you do it right I think it’s fine I just personally like how it looks and depending on what you are use your truck for it could have some positive if you go off road from time to but like I said it’s mostly the look I like bigger tires and such but you could damage truck if not done properly and maintained thanks for the reply and thanks for checking out the channel my friend. @@longhairedone1 no but it looked like it could’ve been a 2 1/2 to 3 inch lift, but I don’t think it was a 3 inch lift. I believe if you do a 3 inch lift you have to switch out the upper control arm. I didn’t appear that she did that, but I didn’t get that close to it.

So I left the dealership they offered me 7,500$ off the 2024 trd off road premium I said nope that isn’t enough. I watch lil Kenny he said 8-10 grand off of no buy for me so as I was walking out they said will do 8 grand off plus 5’year oil change lifetime warranty power train. I said nope Kenny says 10 grand off or no deal. He said let me work with you I’ll talk to my manager

I got my 2025 Tacoma TRD Off Road last December 21st and I got a great deal, but I had to negociate with 2 dealers at the same time and they both were lowering the prices, competing to each other and I finally got Invoice price -1k which was like 5k less than msrp, and maybe 7k or 8k less than mark up price, you just need to know how to negotiate.
