Honda had the same hood flexing problem on the Ridgeline, so a couple of years ago they moved back to a steel hood rather than aluminum. Toyota might have to do the same.

Add a $129 Amazon blue tooth front facing camera that attaches to the license plate and you'd be surprised how much easier it is see curbs and other objects when parking. Rob, noting wrong with a 4x2 pickup truck, my 24 Nissan Frontier does everything I need it to in rural east Tennessee!

My 2020 manual is still running fine. I am sure you will like the off-road 4 wheel drive better since you have had several before. Really liked your green one, great color. Mine is desert sand.

Have the sr5 4x4. We had our first snow in Ga yesterday and I had to go out. Will have to say in 4hi I never spun and performed flawlessly. Was behind a 2wd Ford and didn’t think he was going to make it up even a slight incline lol

I have a '24 TRD Sport 4X4 and I love it. It's white so it does stay fairly clean looking. It came with the Sports pckg and automatic seats are great and very comfortable. Don't really notice the hood vibrate much, but I get what you mean about the hood scoop obstructing the view. Overall I'm very happy with my new Taco.

2 things get a black & white truck.Or salt and pepper don't hurt to worry about it being dirty.I have a front facing camera.I put on so I know where the heck.The truck's gonna be at when i'm come in to stop in a parking spot

My 2024 TRDOR is white. I haven't cleaned it since purchase and still looks great! Lol... Highly recommend the power seats. They are absolutely fantastic. Look forward to seeing the new truck Rob.

If your next color is white, it will look clean even when it's dirty. Then when you wash it, you'll see it was a lot dirtier than you thought. I've had several white vehicles, and that was always my experience.

When I test drove a 24 fourth gen Tacoma trd off-road (premium package) the first thing I noticed at freeway speed was the hood fluttering, so unless Toyota modified their hood design, have to deal with it.🤷‍♂️😳

I think you're getting the white. Keep in mind that that color is difficult to keep clean, especially those streaks you get under the door handles after it rains. It starts just under the door handles down to the bottom of your doors. I see so many white cars like that and it looks horrible. My 24 offroad is in bronze oxide which in my opinion is the best color of the year.

Solar Octane is similar to the Supersonic red, it gets dirty and needs regular cleaning. I know, I have a 2024 Tacoma Sport in Solar Octane. It looks fantastic when it is clean, but looks a bit ratty when dirty

White is far easier to maintain, that's a fact. The vehicle will look better far longer than any other color. I currently own 2 white vehicles, and recently traded in one after over 10 yrs of ownership, it helped the trade in value. I will likely never buy any other color.

@chrismarbrey9678 I've learned over the years, silver doesn't show the dirt as much as white, yet is well known for prematurely fading paint regardless of brand. I don't understand why it fades so easily, but it's been proven millions of times.

My truck is silver and one of the reasons I picked that color is I believe it looks the most clean when dirty. The key to keeping the color alive is to wax every 6 months.

Your truck will be white, I'm 100% sure. You won't have problems with hood bouncing with Trd off-road.

That's why I brought the trail hunter over the PRO because the hood moved all over over the place the hood on trail hunter is solid and you can see over the hood i have the underground color it is so hard to keep clean it shows every thing

My 2022 was white I first was so against it! Only because it would look like a work truck. After seeing it was the off-road w/ black wheel fenders changed my mind. I put vinyl on the front hood and vinyl on the tail gate to breakup the all white look. So glad I got the color especially when it gets dirty it’s still not bad!!! Can’t wait to see the new yota, I’ll be watching!!!

Didn’t even mention all the massive transmission failures that still haven’t been specifically addressed and fixed even for the 2025 Tacoma. Your still not getting anything more for a 50 to 60,000$ ripoff Tacoma when your next to me on the freeway than the 2006 Xrunner I bought for 23,000 back then.
