I love the gli jsut wish they gave you a option to black out it all including the interior I don’t like the red stitching or the red strip in the front and then last off if they would offer a awd version with the 270 horsepower engine or throw a v6 270 horsepower engine and get rid of the floating tablet screen this car would be perfect like litterally

a GREAT review, better than many of the others, here the driver goes into some detail regarding NVH over coarse pavement and ride smoothness over rough pavement. why can't more reviewers cover these key issues? i would love to test drive one, last vw i drove was a '79 rabbit [old man here] which had an amazingly smooth ride over bumpy pavement compared to the pinto i had before it. i do fear the new german [expensive and built to stay that way] car here may have the same unreliability my rabbit had, something was always going wrong with it.

I like that new shade of blue. I picked up a very low mileage Jetta S quite cheap for a used '24. Lot of car for the money. Only real negative is the sound system which is probably the worst i've ever heard in a vehicle since the 1980s. The larger wheels on the Sport might be a worthwhile upgrade, quite easy to break the base models tires loose w/ a manual.

@@tezh5897 I owned a 2020 S with 1.4T. Those are pretty bulletproof. From 2022 they switched to 1.5T, more complicated, but still very reliable. No serious issues with the engine, but some parts like water pump or timing chain covers may go sometimes.

I own a 2021 Jetta S with the 1.4 turbo and 6-speed manual. 60k miles. No issues. Besides regular oil changes, I have replaced the tires and rear brakes. Great commuter car. Very pleasant at 70 mph. Awesome mileage. Getting 39 mpg in the city, 50 on a recent trip from Chicago to Toronto. Very pleased.
