I'm with other commenters who say, the biggest factor for watching someone is their stream schedule. I put northernlion on my second monitor every day because I know he's almost always streaming at the exact same time daily. And if he isn't, he usually tells the stream or announces it somewhere. Love the consistency.

For me, one of the biggest factors on whether I watch a streamer I like live is their schedule. It's so helpful when a streamer has a consistent schedule because I can plan on watching while working or crafting or cleaning, etc. Hasan's streams stress me the fuck out but he's my number #1 watched streamer because I know he'll be streaming every afternoon and I can put him on while I'm working. As someone who works a standard 9-5 schedule it's really hard to watch a streamer regularly unless they have a consistent and predictable schedule so I know how watching their content fits into my life. But I do really love having live content to watch while I'm just getting stuff done even if it is just simple chatting or gaming content.

@minecraftnerd2175 there’s a reason why he consistently has high viewership! I think schedule is the first thing streamers need to work on if they want to improve their viewership. Hasan takes it to an extreme for his own health but even just streaming consistently a few days a week helps people get in the habit of watching your stream

Maya has said the two streamers she watches are Zoil and Hasan. One streams most days before she starts work, and the other after her day ends. So her viewing preference is to watch consistent reliable streamers streaming often, attempting to grow by doing the opposite for her own viewers seems odd

definitely relate to what maya said about time off = maximizing time = suddenly not relaxing. i’ve been home the past week with the flu and bronchitis and my husband was absolutely bewildered when i was trying to schedule my rests, emails, planning what kind of rest i needed and when and ending up just paralyzed staring at the clock feeling miserable. the thing with burnout is if you don’t make time for yourself, your body will force you to MAKE time not on your schedule i.e. sick, mental breakdown, fatigue etc. so it’s always best to schedule time to rest like a 8-5 job even if you don’t have one. (and to actually mentally take a break and not keep thinking about work like i do.) happy new year y’all, spend time with family and friends if you have them and don’t forget to just spend time with yourself too.

The majority of big streamers are live almost everyday, that consistency is clearly key. It's already really surprising just how big of a streamer Maya still is for just how little she now streams, choosing to reduce that down further to just two days a week but also wanting to grow seems a weird move.

People subscribing to her twitch to watch her content has to be a huge income for her, so choosing to stream even less than she already does surely will make ppl question if such few hours are still worth the sub. You have to remember she is in competition with so many others for the viewers limited funds. It would not surprise me if her sub count suffers this year, with lots of people deciding if going from 12 streams to maximum 8 streams is still worth the sub compared to the many others streaming 15 or 20+ times a month.

For those who are wondering, a human egg is just barely visible to unaided human vision If The Following Are True: 1. The viewer has very good to excellent near field eyesight, and 2.
