Driving a Q5 with the 40TDI not in the US blew my mind. Very fast and quiet. This is how far diesel technology has evolved.

This is much better looking atleast in the shape and interior quality compared to the bucket of plastic the new x3 is . Will have to see this in person before I swap my 22 x3 . Already cried after seeing the new x3 in person and how much plastic the interior is

I’m betting the US gets the MHEV 48 volt architecture. Mine currently has it and I can’t imagine they would deliver it without this system. I’m assuming the standard Q5 is the 2.0 EA888 engine variant. Great review.

I replayed 4:22 to 4:24 many times, unfortunately I did not get where the 2026 Q5 will be made, I believe I heard San jose, is it California ? Thanks for letting us know. BTW, I love the way Audis are designed, my concern is with maintenance cost and reliability as I tend to own my cars for a long time., the same goes for BMW. Are my concerns legitimate. Thanks for the excellent work in preparing these no nonsense reviews.
