AOC actually asked people who voted for both her and trump on instagram why they did, and a huge chunk of them said they cared more about them being populists and outside the establishment than which side of the aisle they were on. Same thing happened with a lot of Bernie bros voting for trump in 2016. I’m not too sure about aoc but I’d love if the dems nominated a more progressive and less establishment-y candidate in 2028
