With the astronomical price of over 2.5 million, the yearly property TAXES for this house in Texas will be over 40K … just to live in….that is , to live in Fredricksburg f-ing Texas ?? An hour away in any direction from ANYTHING. Not to mention the droughts and 95/100+ degree weather 5 months out the year. But hell, I can deal with that if it wasn’t for property taxes twice what you pay in most states. SMH Jesus H Christ , the market has REALLY gone over the cliff in this f-ing country. We’re In the middle of a housing crisis that has only been made worse by the lack of gov. oversight on corporate greed which puts Profit over people, that has lead to the artificial INFLATION driving up prices and the actual “worth” of things including houses. THIS is not “worth” THAT ..anymore than your grocery bills are “worth” double what you paid four years ago. THIS here country and state is some Bull S. I love Texas, born and bred, but THIS is some real BULL S. Yeah we pay no income tax which has become a scam of a selling point when we end up having to pay up the A SS in property taxes AND sales TAX ..because , you guessed it , government doesn’t run on AIR , despite the tax haven wet dream republicans in this state have SOLD Texas OUT to be. SH-it still needs to function including those private charter schools their using to RUIN our public schools system by bankrupting them and you bet your A SS the Governor along with his State government cronies aren't taking a pay cut from YOUR “socialist” TAXES any time soon.
