This is my favorite duo, Emily knows she wouldn't have gotten those fancy ingredients and slightly more advanced techniques herself, but she respects the pro's choices and appreciates and trusts the process more than she trusts herself 😂and Chef Lish doesn't see the cheap ingredients and say "I'd just get something better", instead she sees the potential in otherwise simple things and goes for "I'll make this one better" 🥰 It's lovely to see how she got so excited and proud that Emily did her recipe well and had fun!! This show has gotten a lot better lately. The pro chefs don't cheat by adding their own ingredients any more. They've stopped dissing "common" ingredients. Lish has a great attitude and explained everything she did in a way that the average viewer could understand.

I just tried the French toast and it is DELICIOUS. Where I live, we don't have "halve-halve" nor pain de mie (only if I travel to France), so I replaced it by casino bread and half double cream half full fat milk. It was delicious.
