I don't know how to make waves, but your lesson really teaches us what to do and not to do. I'm learning with you ❤

Chica I simply love the way the cells hit the edge of the wave,it makes it look that more realistic. I really hope you do another black canvas, I really think this one came out so beautiful the white just pops out so natural. ❤🎉😊

Pop your white half on the clear and half off. The amount you put down is personal preference. As for heating. Heat everything up first and then use a high speed to blow out the waves in sections. Using a back and forth motion as well as side to side.

Hi Julie, loving the wave series ❤. The only way I can think of to stop the white bleeding into the wood grain, is to put a very thin layer of resin over the whole board after you paint it black. Let it all cure and then start your waves. Everything else has worked very well. ❤❤❤

I like the first wave being thinner line thenthe second ticket... because then it looks like the first one is starting to receed as the second is coming at you again. Very realistic. Over all though is gorgeous as always!❤❤❤

❤ That was a great video with some surprises. I was interested in your blowing of the white all over the top part of the wood. Then you covered most of it with blue, hey, what were you doing! Then more white over the blue! It just looks so neat and interesting. Thank you again. M in USA

Hi. I absolutely love youth Your shoreline areas. I've seen where after you do the final wave, instead of continuing to blow it out further they blew it back partially back on itself to give the rolling wave effect. I think that would look more realistic. Nice job though.

Hi Julie, how about you use a piping bag for the white? I think it would give you more control over the line.

O have always been told to keep the grain of the wood verticle as to where you put your waves. In other words, your white. Line should be horizontal to you and opposite to the grain of the wood to avoid the bleeding if you do it with no resin on part of your boards. I'm not convinced it will stop all bleeding, but I have seen less bleeding doing this.. Love all your work.❤❤❤❤❤❤

Here’s my thoughts. Less is more, the ocean isn’t full of sea foam. It’s only where the waves crash. Make the long wave along the shore thinner, you don’t need to cover the whole board, the secondary waves should be narrower and staggered, not the width of the whole board. Also by doing the different shades of blue all at the first pour you don’t have to wait for each colour to cure and it gives an indication of where to put the additional white/seafoam. Hope that helps.

Can you tell me why my dried resin gets sticky after I use isopropyl alcohol on it? It isn’t sticky before I put the isopropyl on it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. You do such a great job on waves, better than mine.

Ya, the line isn't like a straight white line. Thinking it should be broken up with cells of its own popping up, not so uniform.
