These comments are so rude honestly. U dont think this person knows whats going on with their hair/skin situation? What if they're disabled, have a skin condition, mentally ill, we dont know, but it seems like all you people do is assume you know it all.
@aaronmiller795422 күн бұрын
If you can make it to a dermatologist to extract a black head, I think you could figure out how to bathe regularly. Plus I think you'd want to at least wash your hair before having a doctor mess with your head. Ok, she may have a skin condition, maybe disabled , those are maybes but one thing is for sure , her hair is dirty af and not washing will cause dandruff and hers is probably a normal about skin shed that's just built up from not showering for a long period of time. I'm sympathetic to any condition and or disability because I have a skin condition . This is neglect. The question is why the neglect. If it's diminished mental capacity, she would have a care giver and they're failing at their job. Either way. Her hair and scalp is dirty and has been for a while. You don't need to know it all to realize that. People are mean sometimes but sometimes it's needed. The kid that got made fun of for BO, went and got deodorant and never smelled bad again. We need to stop removing shame from our society. Shame is a good thing.

@aaronmiller7954 instead of normalizing shame why don't you normalize being helpful, or encouraging. Seek love, man.

@@oliverjojo7152Agreed! That's a much better way of solving the issue. For those with diminished mental capacity or those with mental health issues, shame is the last thing that is helpful, to anyone. And, he must consider too, that not everyone is under the assistance of a caregiver. There are plenty of persons who could use and benefit from the guidance of one, but due to a shortage of those available, time constraints for those that are CG (having multiple patients), an inability to have one (a CG) paid for or to be able to pay for one themselves, means that there's a lot of persons who are on their own, left to their own abilities, whether they be able to care for themselves or not. One can be taught to do things, but might need the daily care or a guiding hand to be fully successful.

It hurts to have a blackhead there. I’m prone to sweat and I always keep the back of my ears and neck clean. When I was in middle school, and had heavy glasses, I got a sore that didn’t heal. It was painful to wear glasses
@chrisswanner427920 күн бұрын
So I'm assuming it has something to do withthat earing stud cause it seems to line up directly where that stud would rest maybe either keeping it from being properly cleaned or a mixture of pressure and the gunk/build up from the stud causing the issue with that pore or a mixture of all three. Not that it matters I'm just a little over analytical and curious lol

There could be many reasons for the hair condition. She may have recently had lice, and as a person who has had it a couple of times, the nits (empty lice eggs) take a while to clear out of your hair even when you wash it as they are very sticky. Some people are also just very dandruff prone.

Looks like maybe psoriasis, between the flaky scalp and patch behind the ear. It can spread pretty ferociously down the ears, neck, etc. I have a family member who’s dealing with it to that extent, and it seems like misery.
@GoSipOnTea23 күн бұрын
@@piecesoftheheart9231 That could be it too. That's why I said I didn't wanna be mean bc IDK their circumstances. My husband had dandruff terribly but it's bc he's biracial. I think if you work in healthcare it's always a good idea to be overly cautious. You could unknowingly transfer something that's not diagnosed yet from one patient to the next. You never fully know what people have going on aside from the problem that they're specifically seeing you for. You're not just touching yourself/friends/family but complete strangers. You also minimize the risk of potentially exposing your patients to other bacteria. Plus as healthcare workers it just gives you some peace of mind that you did everything possible to avoid bringing something home with you. It could also be as simple as it grosses you out to get people's bodily fluids on your skin. Or it grosses your patient out if you're touching them without gloves. There's also a psychological component to it because it creates an additional barrier between you and your patient and thereby eliminating direct skin to skin contact. Do you know what I mean?😊
