i think thats partly due to the fact video games have a longer runtime than movies, spiderman ps4 is like a 20 something hour game, movies normally run 2 hours, so you get more time to bond with them

They actually made the models for the 2099 suits and the Ghost Spider suit buffer

A lot of suits have tweaks in the body figure, like the resilient suit has bigger over all and huge biceps, 2099 is just different model all together. Webbed suited has wider lats. The amazing suit is made skinnier and the spider punk has a different headshape and the eletrco proof suit has a different body entirely aswell
