20kw Golden Motor used on Toyota MR2 car in New Zealand

I've done exactly this please give me advise on the wiring. How do you switch this motor to the on position? I do not have a stator - what I do have is a electric motor, the controller, water cooled pump and 12v inverter. What am I missing? The controller is flashing a red light
