I also stayed when it was a Hilton but I was a shareholder so that was 10% discount and paying by Diners Club was another 10% off and made it good value breakfast. Still a shareholder but it's no longer Hilton anymore alas

I like Hilton hotels just not the price 🤣 That said they do get the basics right! Maybe try the Hampton by Hilton at south shore

Booked through Groupon last year. Upon arrival I asked if there was an upgrade available & they kindly upgraded me to an executive room on the top floor for free. The top 2 floors have been renovated within the past few years. I enjoyed it, well worth the money I paid.

Not bad for the price but one thing I cannot stand is dirty windows and doors. They need to get a contract cleaning company in to do a job lot. Walked past this hotel as we were in Blackpool the week before half term. Thanks for showing us around.

Did it use to be called the Pembroke. I think my hubby had a works presentation and all employees got a commeritive £5.oo coin. A few of them tried to spend it behind the bar.

hi ww like most large hotels in blackpool especially on the seafront charge parking at a ridiculous price.i suppose it is easy money for them, if the guests did't pay it the owners may come to re-think charging for parking is not the right way to attract customers. thanks for another great video at least it highlights the hotels to what they really are.

The Manor House Hotel in West Auckland charge £15 per person for the use of the Spa and Gym, but free Parking and wifi

Spooky coincidence I was only here yesterday (27th Oct), and only a couple doors down from your first room (502). No complaints here, they must've turned that generator off because I couldn't hear it. I also had a king size bed but only booked a double, and it was very comfy. No complaints here, except the enamel in the bath was worn and scuffed, whole room was spotless though. I paid £45, not bad for a sunday in half term. It was quite busy, especially so at check out this morning, I think a lot of schools broke up this weekend and are off next week, which could explain why it was quieter when you went. I also parked on that same street, bugger paying £7...if it was about £3 I'd consider it to be off the street.

It's not bad really - it's a bit run down in places but cheap enough. You should try calling them it's cheaper over the phone. But you did right not paying to park

I stayed there about 10-15 years back when it was a Hilton the parking back then was 10 quid a night , but the breakfast was out of this world everything you could think of and plenty of it. Can be a nightmare for trams and buses into the Centre always packed.

Just come back from Blackpool... Drove past this hotel on the way home, looked a bit run down and quite far from the main attractions.. We stayed at the travelodge south shore, it was £90 per night. Tiny rooms, almost November but too hot to sleep properly and still half hour walk to the tower, the parking was rubbish, ended up paying £24 to park for the night... Will look at this hotel next time!

I'm impressed with the entrance and the corridors did not look too bad .....charging to pay to park your car when you are staying there is wicked I know lots of hotels do It but it does not make it right .....huge hotel .

Staying for a week and £49 for parking added, i won't be in a hurry to go there although it did look nice inside. Severe lack of people ,they may have heard about the car parking scam.

I assume the expensive parking is for none residences . Hotel guests pay at the desk . I’ve stopped in lots of Britannia hotels . This hotel is like a palace compared to the others .

Went to that prime burger last month when I was up and £1 a burger £1.50 hot dog what a bargain and food was nice, but it was a woman served me so perhaps I was luckier. Wish I knew about deal, but then again I'm not up until 15th and I don't normally stay north of Manchester Square. However, there some nice looking hotels beyond Gynn Square and some between Gynn and Metropole including this hotel. Does look a nice place to stay though, just needs some attention in areas.

My favourite up that way is the Park House Hotel I'd recommend that one too. The burger place was ok if you're on a budget.

I went there and omg ewww there was like something on the skin it looked. Like blood don't even get me started on the toilets honestly I felt kinda scared there bc like the theme well not like theme but the thing they were going for was olden times and thats what creeped me out the windows was dirty and like the key cards for the rooms didn't work that well we. Had to try it like ten thousand times

President hotel had wifi and a good size Room including the dog for £46 which was decent... Thats a disgrace from Britannia... They're just rinsing ya for having luxuries 😂😂😂 My dog isn't a smelly one trust me he's clean 😂 i know your stance on dog smells I don't approve myself😂 hygiene people... Hygiene. They should have rooms set aside for dog owners if they're dog friendly and shouldn't be used for anyone else as people have allergies. I worked in hotels most my life i wouldn't have that in a hotel i worked in 😂 bed "was made for dwarves" but was wide enough for me to sleep sideways 😂
