The more I watch this the more I'm convinced that it has to be the best combo video the game has ever seen. I can't think of anyone else that could claim such mastery over their character. Acid drops are obviously insane and super flashy, but your use of down smash, zair, and reverse bair to extend combos is just so unbelievably clean, and it's clear from a lot of these clips how many steps ahead of your opponents you always are. Through the fire and the flames is such a hilariously effective choice of song bc somehow it works with the insanity happening on the screen and also cements this vid as timelessly old school in much the same way melee itself is. Just wow.

He's a lot like Roy in that his super brutal combos rely on a series of calculated weak hits. He's such a strategic positioning based char that can hit super hard once you understand how his combos with his projectiles can work. It's what makes him so fun to play in my eyes and why I love him.

glad you enjoyed! let me share the secret with you real quick. to land the bair dair combos try to get link's knee hitbox of bairs to hit dead center slightly underneath an opponent. after the second bair ends immediately dj dair in the direction opponent is sent. Thank you! Yeah I love that clip. The reason it worked was the bomb that bounced off of fox's shield actually shieldpokes him and hits his tail making the whole set up possible. It was quite an intricate set up
