Why not show them where most Gen Z folks live and not the select few. People wonder why we have a skewed view of reality... it's because media in all it's forms promotes the haves over the have-nots. Most people in the U.S. are not in the top 10 percent and don't own a home outright until they are much older. The moment you showed a pro basketball player as your first Gen Z'er , I knew this video was nothing more than another hype video for the well off. When ChaCha said a house costs more than $150000, how could she possibly own one... well, that my friends is most people's reality. Worrying about how the rich live will get you nowhere. Work, save your money, and live well within your means and you will get there. If you are lucky enough to get into a house, pay a little extra on your mortgage payment when you can ( it doesn't have to be a lot ) and you will own that home faster than you ever imagined. Don't buy a home bigger or more expensive than you need and keep in mind that all repairs, maintenance, etc. are your responsibility and that home ownership is a never-ending expense.

First off, this is...not really "America" it is...A Suburban house of really really really really really really Rich people. the Average American Gen Z'er doesnt live like this. This is a top 10%'s house. That (1st) house is worth about 1 to 3 million dollars. If you want to see a real American's house in 2022, i suggest the inner city or even a Rural town. But suburbia is not a good representation. Very Nice Video as always, im just trying to express the real America, and not one fabricated and delivered in a nice shiny packaging. You guys make great work and i dont want you guys to be fooled by the snake oil salesman ( its a American saying of someone trying to trick you).

I was literally expecting to see some unfinished basements and attic rooms...not a millionaire basketball player's luxury mansion and a bunch of other celebs, lol. Most Gen Z do not live like this, most of America does not live like this. I think the spaciousness of simple average American homes is enough to shock most people. I live in a 1 bedroom apartment built in the mid 1960s with 880 square feet of living space and the fact I have a walk in closet shocks most foreigners, lol. (PS, I'm a guy so it is full of boxes of fishing gear and tools, lol, hey with no garage what's an American guy gonna do?)

Ladies, what may seem like opulence is the first impression one may have, but these are very good investments over time. The people that make a large amount of money are in the top 1% and need somewhere to invest, this is just one way since real estate is considered a very good investment here in the US. Devin Booker has a very tasteful house. I must complement you ladies on how tastefully you dress and as we say you all look like a million bucks. Good video.

I believe you are looking at and reacting to exceptions and not the normal persons of that generation. There are millions of people living normal lives and in less exotic homes which are very nice and feel very comfortable which lead to happy family or bachelor lives. Maybe that could be a comparison video for your channel to make between Korea and the US or other countries.

I’d say 1996 is still millennial. If you have several childhood memories from before 9/11, you’re a millennial. 1997 makes sense as a cutoff because not many people remember much from when they’re 4 years or younger.

@@alohatigers1199 It’s a play off that the letter Z is the last letter of the English alphabet and that correlates with how generation are remember when they reach adulthood.
