I love the enthusiasm, I think you should have added how he was looking to sell the dozer but nobody was interested, he had a building inspection and the guy said nothing. So Marv said “it was meant to be”

I saw Tread and honestly, it was disrespectful how everyone in that movie acted gobsmacked that an otherwise normal guy got that mad that he made a tank and went on a rampage. If you push a man who's got nothing to lose too far, he will snap and it will be UGLY. While I leave was it "right to do" between Marvin and God, I can empathize with his frustrations when he tried to play by the rules and the city could not be bothered to work things out, since he was just one guy in a shop... What's the worst he can do?

The first tanks were inspired by the tractors of the day, so with that in mind it's hardly surprising that a bulldozer could be adapted for a similar purpose.

@@delanorrosey4730 I never knew the whole story until I watched that. Great documentary. I think it might be here on yt. I think Ronald Reagan died shortly after this happened and that's why it never got much coverage.

@@_itsallahoax Yes, the movie is still on YT. Reagan died the next day; the media used that to cover up the story in case if anybody else might get the same idea. I mean Columbine was 5 years before it; now this? Both successful in their own separate ways. But evolution has its ways of improving upon perfection.

All Marvin did was make the mistake of buying land that was for sale. Had he known the previous owner was trying to buy it back after foreclosure, the whole sad situation might have been avoided, and a reasonable man might not have been forced to do unreasonable things.
