Brendan Scott was one of the best comedy characters in this soap; such a shame they killed him off.

He was a terrific character, superbly played by Milton Johns. But rather than kill him off they should have had him and Audrey fall in love and disappear to Monte Carlo together with a wallet full of credit cards, that way Alf could enjoy his last years in relative peace.

If Brendan ( Milton Johns ) is 81 now, as I read in a previous episode’s comments, the character would’ve been in his late 50s here

Had the same thing happen to a retired colleague at work. He used to work 6 or even somtimes 7 days (overtime), 2 weeks after he retired, he had a heart attack and died. Tsk, tsk

Love Colin’s unpalatable home truths scene with Des, great writing from Paul Abbott, esp as he wasn’t one of the regular team. Des should’ve emptied his can over Colin’s head lol.
