My great grandfather worked for the New York Central from 1902 to 1942, he was a locomotive engineer for the 20th Century Limited. I have a B&W photo of him from 1939 :)

What an amazing recreation...You've "nailed-it" as far as what REAL rail travel was like back in the day. "Never rode the NYC, but the UP and Burlington were pretty much the same. High quality stuff and great food. (I'm 70 years old and to those reading this. You'll NEVER experience what I have in the past, (unless you want to pay SERIOUS MONEY) for it, but then again, it won't be the same. Good luck with that ya'll.

Your dove grey suit is beautiful. I noticed you were the only woman wearing gloves & they definitely helped make the outfit. I have 2 pair of vintage gloves from my grandmother ( 30s I think. And a beaded pearl collar that used to have a matching soft clutch bag) I think my love for antiques & vintage started as a child staying at my grandparent's ranch house. I have her antique Singer sewing machine & a cedar chest as well. Both older than me & I'm over 60. Looks like you & your Vintage Friends have a lot of fun 🥂

The clothes in this video are the best to date! Swoon-worthy perfection. Several years ago I took Amtrak’s Silver Palm from Jacksonville to Washington DC’s Union Terminal (and back). I had a roomette with a toilet and sink. There was a shower compartment at both ends of the sleeping car. Fresh cooked meals in the dining car. You fall asleep easily as the train rocks back and forth as it speeds into the night. Amtrak is certainly not as glamorous as your train but it was a wonderful experience! Looking forward to your next video!
