The 30's wedding dress was my favorite. It looks deceptively plain, but has beautiful details to it. The sheer white was another fave. Everything was gorgeous, they had such style in the 30's and 40's. I love chihuahuas, she's a cute one. Enjoyed the try ons, thanks for sharing!

So beautiful the way you present your videos, and relaxing to watch, I am lying on the bed after my first gig for about 18 months and I’m exhausted 😴.....I did drift off a little bit through the hats, so I’m going to go back and have another look at them😅 I love dressing vintage in style, but over here in the UK I haven’t been so successful at finding many items especially from the 30s and 40s for a woman of my size, although to be perfectly honest there are quite a lot of reproduction companies, I personally though find those rather pricey and I do get a kick out of styling modern pieces, but when I see these beautiful true vintage items the little green monster does raise his head a little if I’m being honest. They are really gorgeous, and they look fantastic on you. So thank you very much for sharing.

I've seen people put netting (like the last item you showed) around the face, tied in the back. I think that's why there are no jewels in the center -- the better to see you with, my dear! Love how everything fits you right out of the box. We gals with waists > 26/28" have it tough in the vintage realm (that's why I knit to fit!)

Yes, as with a lot of 30s dresses, she looks completely different on a body! They often don’t have much hanger appeal.

Thank you for watching! So glad you enjoyed the video! Oh my, there's so many tips on taking care of vintage! I might have to do a video just on that alone, although I don't know nearly as much as some other friends of mine. The number one tip I'd say is to educate yourself on the best way to launder each piece, and be aware of how delicate each piece is before wearing. (ie check seam strain, shattering, etc before wearing.)

All these pieces are absolutely beautiful. The as you say, “peachy” color dress with the hat at 6:30 where you are not sure you want to keep it because it matches your skin, I say, keep it. It looks gorgeous on you. I do not see where it flushes you out at all. Maybe because of the lighting in the video, I don’t see what you see. I just see it looks beautiful with your skin tone and the colors in the hat brings the color of the dress out giving it distinct contrast against your skin. Girl, keep it. Wear it.

It is truly gorgeous on her. I agree, she should keep it. Unlike the dress with the vest, which makes her skin look somewhat sallow. Those colors definitely do not go with her skin. The peach doesn’t have that effect on her at all.

... and I just realized why: you remind me of my grandma in this blouse! You actually look a lot like her when she was young. In the forties, she would have been in her early twenties.
