What I really love about this so far is that we don't even know where this movie will be set. Even though we can see buildings, the remnants of human civilization, they've become so unrecognizable at this point because of the utter disrepair and the greenery that had thoroughly conquered it. It is another metaphor of how far humanity has fallen and how much Nature has punished humanity for trying to control it (as the Colonel so eloquently put it in War), for even its own legacy has become just as broken and primitive. This looks to have so much potential and promise, and I hope it can live up to what Rupert Wyatt started and what Matt Reeves built upon.

When I was a child it was an ART FORM (an almost totally LOST art sadly) to make exciting movie previews that balanced the line perfectly with showing just enough to give a basic idea of what the movie is about and stir up excitement and curiosity but NOT spoil the end or reveal any major plot twists. Maybe that "art" is coming back because trailers devolved into just a 2 minute shortened version of the movie. The only exception in my childhood that I can remember were the ROCKY movies. The plots were so totally basic and obvious and lacking in suspense and predictable that it was pretty much impossible to do a preview without spoiling it, but people watched them to feel good so that was kind of ok.

Looks epic, I hope it’s just as good as the previous trilogy

Looks pretty great. Cant help but feel the VFX is slightly downgraded compared to War, which still looks groundbreaking. But these films never disappoint, so I have high hopes, even with a new director.

To be fair it is a trailer, and 'the whole thing' is CG so that budget and time for detail has to get spread out a lot more. It's still good enough to immerse in, and you'll forget about it 20 minutes into the film, I wager.

It's a great movie, thank you to those who contributed to its production.
